Chapter 6, Season 2 has arrived inFortnite, and added to the map is a way to mine for gold! Mining gold ore veins will not only give you the gold rush effect, but will also drop a stack of gold bars that you can use to purchase items from NPCs, vending machines, and mod benches.
Additionally, one of the Kickstart quests for this season requires you to eithermine a gold vein or swim in the gold river to gain the Gold Rush effect. In the guide below, we’ll go over where you an find the Gold Veins to mine.
Every Gold Vein Location In Fortnite: Chapter 6, Season 2
Thewestern side of Fortnite Islandhas been taken over by gold all throughout themountains, the river, and in the surrounding POIs.
Everything in this area of the map is covered in gold, but in certain spotsyou’ll find clusters of golden rocks. These are Gold Veins, and youhit them with your pickaxeto get both the Gold Rush effect and some gold bars.
To complete the Kickstart quest with the Gold Vein, you only have to break theGold Vein once and gain the effect.
