Figuring out the way can often be a bit challenging, especially if you haven’t unlocked the entire map yet, making it difficult to pinpoint the treasure’s location from the drawing.
But does every treasure map actually lead to a treasure? That’s the question Henry will face when he takes on the X Marks The Spot quest from Krizhan, and this guide is here to tell you all about it, from how to get this quest and where to find the claimed treasure.
How To Start The X Marks The Spot Quest
After completing the Speak of the Devil main quest,head south of Pschitoky in the Kuttenberg Region to the tavern. There, you’ll findthe Innkeeper, whom you’re able to speak to andask about the latest news.
He will then direct you tohired hand Krizhan in Pschitoky, where you’re able to talk to him andstart the X Marks the Spot quest.
Krizhan will mention that he has found a treasure map and needs your help to locate it.
You will receiveKrizhan’s Treasure Map, which you may use to assist in finding the treasure.
How To Complete The X Marks The Spot Quest
Krizhan’s treasure map points toan enemy camp located just northeast of Sedletz Monastery. At this camp, you will finda cave entrance, but be cautious asthere will be plenty of enemies both inside and outside.
ensure to deal with them before heading inside the cave.
Towards the end of the cave, you will comeacross several spots where you can dig. However, even after digging at all these spots,you won’t find anything, as there is no treasure. All you need to do ishead back to Krizhan and talk to him about this.
During your conversation with Krizhan, you will have multiple options on how to deal with him, such asthreatening him, attacking him, or simply leaving. However, we recommend selecting the ‘We’ll settle this the nice way’ option.
This is because, even though you were tricked,Krizhan will become a skill teacher, which you may benefit from later. But if you really want your money back, you know what to do.
Whatever option you choose,it will complete the ‘X Marks The Spot’ quest.
