With how dangerous the underground is inCore Keeper, you’ll need at least some type of weapon to defend yourself, whether it’s a sword or a spell book that summons minions to fight for you. If you don’t, a grim fate, tombstone, and lost items are likely in your future.

Many of the weapons you come across are crafted yourself at an anvil or dropped from a monster or boss, but a handful of weapons and tools go far beyond what you’re able to make or find. Appropriately called legendary, these weapons carry unique properties that set them apart from all others, and the Phantom Spark is one of them.

What Is The Phantom Spark?

The Phantom Spark bow isone of several Legendary tier items, and itcannot be crafted with normal crafting materialsand itsrecipe isn’t naturally unlockedby getting a new anvil. In total, it hassix components:

TheOctarine Bars and Ancient Gemstonesare theeasiest materialsto get out of them, asOctarine Ore can be minedin large quantities all over theSunken Sea, as well as found in Treasure Chests there, andAncient Gemstonesare a common drop fromany breakable or Treasure Chestregardless of biome.

Use aBoat Workbench to craft at least the basic Boat before attempting to get the Phantom Spark, as it will make crossing all the open water a lot fasterand prevent you from needing hundreds of bridges.

As for theother four components, you’ll need tofind several specific locationsin the Sunken Sea and explore them to find the items you’ll need: theGlyph Parchment Shrineand thethree largest Forlorn Metropolis sub-biomes.

How To Find The Phantom Spark Materials

For the other components, you need toseek out special Forlorn Metropolis sub-biomesfound on theopen water of the Sunken Seathat contain Broken Core scenes at the center. Each of thosethree scenesalways has anAncient Chest that contains one of the materials.

Thematerials needed to craft the Admin Keyare also found in thesame Forlorn Metropolis sub-biomesas the Phantom Spark’s actual materials, and they’re what’sfound inside the Broken Coresthat make up the scene:

For theShutdown ProtocolandAnomaly Report Core Rooms, the onlyAncient Chestwill be on thetop right side of the room, but for theOverwrite Transcript Core Room, the chest is in thebottom left corner, and you’ll need toplace blocks or bridgesto get across the water to it.

How To Find The Phantom Spark Recipe

The Glyph Parchment can befound in theunique Glyph Parchment Shrine scene, located in theSunken Seaon a small islandaround 500 Tiles away from The Core.

To open its locked door, you’llneed the Admin Key, which is made bypurchasing the Empty Crystalfrom theCloaked Merchantafter you’verestored The Coreand gotten to the mid-game biomes and thencombining it with the Shutdown Protocol,Anomaly Report, and theOverwrite Transcriptin your inventory.

Once you have the Admin Key,bring it to the Glyph Parchment Shrine, insert it into the door to open the room, and getaccess to the Titan Chestinside. It willalways contain the Glyph Parchment, some guaranteed valuables, and other loot.

How To Craft The Phantom Spark

First, ensure you haveall the materials in your inventory, like with the Admin Key, as itwon’t work if the items are in storage, even if they’re within range. This includes the Glyph Parchment, Channeling Gemstone, Fractured Limbs, Energy String, 100 Octarine Bars, and 20 Ancient Gemstones.

Put theGlyph Parchment in your hotbarand thenuse it like a consumable itemto make aprogress bar, and when it’s filled up, all the materials will be consumed, and you’llreceive the Phantom Spark​​​​​​bow.
