InKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are countless quests to undertake, but not all of them are guaranteed to be available. This is because the choices you make throughout the game significantly influence the story, and some decisions may lock you out of specific quests, questlines, or even characters.
Alternatively, sometimes starting one side quest can lead Henry into a chain of quests related to that particular task, allowing him to learn more about the characters involved, engage in their activities, and much more. This is exactly the case with Menhard Von Frankfurt.
How To Start The Mark Of The Brotherhood Quest
After completing the Ars Dimicatoria quest, wait a few in-game days and thenmake your way to Menhard, located at the Swordfighting Guildnear the Black Horse Tavern.
Speak to him and select ‘What are you planning next?’ to start the Mark of the Brotherhood quest.
How To Find The Guild Sword
Your task is toget the guild sword back from Emmeram, so make your way to himat his butcher shop in the Smugglers' storehouse area.
Speak to him, and you will learn that he threw the swordin the rubbish heap on the south side of the city.
In this area, you will need todig up three spots. However, even after doing this, there will be no sign of the sword, soyou need to make your way back to Emmeram.
He will then tell you what really happened and give you the broken sword.
Because Emmeram tried to fool you,you have the option to beat him up. Naturally, we went with this option, so he got what he deserved, but this has no impact on the quest.
How To Complete The Mark Of The Brotherhood Quest
How To Forge The Guild Sword
Take the broken sword back to Menhardand tell him what happened. Menhard will then send you on a quest torepair the sword, and what you actually need to do is reforge the sword at the blacksmith.
Head to the nearest blacksmith, which isjust northwest of Menhard’s location, and interact with the anvil. Select theGuild Longsword.

Thankfully, both of these items can be bought from the blacksmith at a cheap price, so go ahead, buy the materials, and start the forging process.
Give Menhard The Repaired Sword
Once you have successfully forged the guild sword,head back to Menhard’s locationand interact with him.
Give him the sword, and the Mark of the Brotherhood quest will be completed.
