While swords, axes, and bows will be the focus on your combat inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll need a trustyDaggerfor those fights that are a little one-sided. You need one to perform a stealth kill, and they’re useful for other things too.

However, getting one isn’t very simple early on. You unlock the stealth kill skill and are informed that you need adagger, but the skill doesn’t tell you where to get one. Thankfully, whether you’re early in the game or exploring Kuttenberg in the second half of the game, you may head to a few places to reliably get adagger.

A dagger at a swordsmith in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How To Get ADaggerEarly

If you’re trying to sneak into camps using stealth kills in the Trosky region but don’t have adagger, encounters can get really frustrating. Particularly when tackling the side quest to bring back Mutt.

If youhead to the road heading southwest from Troskowitz, you’llfind Herdboy Sleepy. In his little camp, there’s a table with a bloody sheep on top.Next to the sheep, there’s adaggeron the table. If Sleepy isn’t looking, you may grab thedaggerand run off with it. Since he’s the only NPC nearby, it should be easy to grab it without him noticing.

Since taking Sleepy’sdaggeris stealing, you need to ensure you’re not caught with it by any guards. They’ll take it off you if they catch you.

Where To Buy ADagger

If you’re later in the game and have managed to lose or accidentally sell yourdagger, you have a few options for where you may buy one.

A lot of bandits carry daggers, so you could always try and kill some out in the open world and loot them. Not every bandit will have one, though, and it might not be in tip-top condition.

You canhead to any Swordsmithto buy adagger. Also, most Innkeepers at Taverns and Blacksmiths in towns will also sell them.

Daggers shouldn’t be too expensive either. You’ll be able tobuy one for around 15-20 Groschen, as long as your haggling skills are good and your reputation with the merchant is okay. As always, be sure to haggle for thedagger. You should never be paying the full price for an item in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Once you have thedagger, be sure to equip it in your inventory when you need it. It’ll be alongside yourTorchin the weapons below your swords and axes.
