The first step is toget your hands on a shovel.There are a few locations where you’re able to find one:
The shovel is a personal item, meaningit isn’t shared with your teammates. If another player wants to help you with this Easter egg, they’ll need to grab their own shovel.
Once you have the shovel, the next step is topurchase the Death Perception perkbefore you start digging.
With these two items, all you need to do isdig at various digging sites until a green ancient gem spawns. When it does,make sure to pick it up.
The spawn rate and location of the gems are random in each match. Sometimes you can find two gems quickly, and the last one might take a couple of rounds to appear. Other times, you might get all three from the first few digging sites, soit’s pretty unpredictable.

There may be other spots, but these are the more prominent ones. Since the spawn of the gems is random, you might dig all the spots on the map and still not get all three gems. Fortunately,every few rounds,the digging spots respawn, so you cantry again.
Once you collect all three gems,head to the room where the Death Perception perk machineand the bull mural are located.To the left of the mural, you’ll finda statue.
Interact with it toplace the three gems there. This will trigger the spawn ofa few Doppelghast enemiesthatyou need to defeat, so be prepared.
Once you successfully eliminate them,the three stones will merge, and a bunch of Essence will spawn, along witha free Raygunfor you to use in the game.
