More and more games seem to be adopting the strategy of giving players control over a plethora of different settings. This helps the player define the experience they’d like to have in the game, changing how important game mechanics work more or less at will and putting the difficulty emphasis where they’d like it to be.
Sniper Elite: Resistancehas incredibly robust settings, allowing you to change just about every facet of gameplay. You can have as difficult or easy an experience as you’d like. With levels that are huge and very replayable, it’s a welcome aspect of what’s already a great Sniper Elite game.

Best Settings For A Balanced Playthrough
While thepresetsare agood starting pointfor customizing the difficulty to your liking, you cantake it a bit further. For achallengethat feels a bitmore authenticthan thedefaultbutisn’t as difficultas thegame can get, these settingsare agood compromise:
Settings that are not listed below are set to their default value, as set by the ‘Medium’ difficulty.
Authentic Zoom
On
These settings make the game feel a bitless arcade-likeat times; itgets ridof theextra zoom effects, you’ll need topay attentionwhile you’rereloading, and yourhealth isn’tquiteas easy to get back.
On top of that, it makesenemy snipersa slightlybigger threatthan they were before. In normal settings, enemy snipers are barely more of a threat than normal enemies in most situations, and making them a bit more of a priority can make them feel a bit likemini-bossesscattered throughout the map.
As a bonus, set ‘Bullet Kill Cameras’ to ‘Frequently’, and you’ll get a bullet-time effect on just about every single lethal shot outside close range.
