One of the main cosmetics you can collect inFinal Fantasy 14is the game’s various Minions, and this ever-growing collection is not stopping soon. Patch 7.2 of Dawntrail has brought even more critters to the list, making it even harder to settle down if you’re one of those looking to catch them all.
Fortunately, most of them are easier to get than those introduced during previous updates. Don’t be fooled - you’ll still need to work hard for those small pets. But persistence is key this time, so as long as you keep pursuing them, you’ll eventually get what you want.

Every 7.2 Minion And How To Get It
Patch 7.2 had a modest addition ofthree Minions in total. They all come from very different sources, but are all quite straightforward when it comes to acquiring them. More minions may be added in future updates to 7.2.
Level 15 rewardfrom the PvP Series 8 Malmstones.
Royal Hound
New dungeons tend to add a special Minion as its rare drop, and The Underkeep was no exception to this. The Royal Hound can be randomly obtained from the dungeonafter opening the final chest. It has a low drop chance, and you’ll still need to roll higher than others, so getting it this way can be tough.
If you want to keep it simple, you can buy it from the Market Board, as people are always eager to add those for sale. However, keep in mind that it’ll not be a cheap buy, especially if you look for it trying to snatch it days after its release.Prices vary between Worlds,so hopping between them to find the best price is a good call.

The Deathservant
TheCornservant questswere a hidden gem from the base Dawntrail patch, consisting of finding the namesake character and aiding it in its noble quest of lending corn to those who needed it. You eventually get the Cornservent itself as a Minion, and the sequel brings a new Servant to the table.
The Deathservant is obtained during the follow-up quest for the Cornservant saga, and also joins your ever-increasing roster of miniature characters. You need to complete its whole quest line, which consists of:

All questsmust be done in order. Once you’re done with those, return to where you first found the Cornservant in Tuliyollal (X:16.4, Y:12.8)to grab the’When Death Comes to Dinner’quest, rewarding you with the deadly (but cute) Servant variant.
Clockwork Oppressor
The final Minion on the list is based on another robot from the Alexander storyline, which is also used as a prop during certain PvP modes. Andcompleting tons of PvP matchesis precisely how you can obtain the rewards for the 7.2 Series Malmstones.
Any PvP mode gives you Series experience, but winning always gives you some more points. you may slowly grind your way up to Level 15 withFrontline Daily Roulettes, or give it a boost with someCrystalline Conflict matches. Whichever method you choose, getting to Level 15 could take a while, so level it at your own pace.

Series Malmstones rewards areunavailable once a new patch rolls out, but will eventually become available in the future for purchase with Trophy Crystals. If you don’t get the Clockwork Oppressor before Patch 7.3 arrives,it’ll only be available after a few months, possibly years.
