Whether you’re running around the various towns of Bohemia or fighting off groups of angry guards, you need to keep an eye on your stamina inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Get too tired and you won’t be able to protect yourself or run away from threats.

Represented by the yellow bar at the bottom of the screen, below your health, your maximum stamina can be increased as you progress so that you don’t get tired so quickly. However, there are some things you can do to speed up the process and really max the stamina you have.

How To Increase Max Stamina

Your maximum stamina in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is tied to your Vitality stat. As you run around more and explore, you’ll get XP towards the stat. Each time you level up your Vitality, your maximum stamina will also increase.

One way to quickly increase your Vitality is to run around everywhere instead of going by horse. If you’re in towns, keep sprinting and your Vitality will increase in no time.

Horses also have stamina bars, represented by a smaller yellow bar. You can buy better horses with better stamina stats.

Skills That Increase Stamina

To improve your stamina further, or improve how efficient Henry is with his stamina use, you may unlock some useful skills. They are:

Balanced Diet

If you don’t overeat, get drunk, or starve for three consecutive days, your stamina will recover 20 percent faster and you will get ten percent more experience in the Vitality stat. If you overeat, get drunk or starve, you will lose the perk effect and will need to reactivate it.

Red Mist

When your health drops below 25 health points during combat, you can a +3 bonus to Strength and Agility for a time, and your stamina regenerates four times faster.
