One of the biggest delights of jumping into a giant RPG is modifying your character’s stats. Whether through upgrades or buffs, it’s always exciting to create your ideal character build and experience the simple joy of watching the numbers get bigger.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is no slouch when it comes to deep role-playing systems, with many stats governing Henry’s interactions with NPCs and the world around him. One of the more important attributes you should keep your eye on is your Charisma value, which can help you get more favorable social interactions or even access to previously forbidden areas.
How To View Henry’s Stats
Before you worry about increasing Henry’s Charisma, it’s important to know what you’re starting with. During regular gameplay, you can open your inventory to see your Charisma value at any time,underneath Henry’s character model.
You’ll also want to check outthe secondary stats screen, which you’re able to findin the Player menu. Charisma istied directly to your Dialogue stats(Persuasion, Coercion, Impression, and Domination), which you can view here. These relate to thedifferent strategies you can use when in conversationwith NPCs, thoughthey are also informed by your Speech level.
How To Increase Charisma
The most efficient way to increase your Charisma (and the method you’ll likely first discover) is tochange your clothes. Spending money onmore extravagant, stylish clothingat tailors is recommended; it may be a bit expensive, but you can alwayshaggleover the price tomake the monetary blow more manageable.
It may be prudent toconsider creating different outfit presets(which you can make in your inventory), such asone for combat and one for social interactions. There’s evena mission in the early gamethatrequires you to construct an outfit with a decent Charisma valuebefore you are allowed to begin.
After purchasing your new clothes,equip them in your inventoryand watch your Charisma skyrocket.Make sure your most impressive duds are your outerwearin order to receive healthy stat bonuses; a luxurious shirt isn’t meaningful if it’s covered by ratty robes.
Of course, a well-dressed man doesn’t make an impact on anyone if he smells awful.Being caked in blood or mud isn’t appealing(in games or in real life), so if you find yourself looking like a murder victim, it’s best to wash up, aspoor hygiene will tank your Charisma.
Thankfully, you have a lot of options to clean yourself. You canvisit bathhouses, where you canclean your body and clothing for some Groschen, or opt for some quicker (though less thorough) resultsusing a water trough. Additionally, you canwash Henry and his clothes at a Laundry spot, thoughsoap will be requiredif you wish to use this method.
If you’re a skilled alchemist, you can alsocraft perfumeswhich will temporarily boost Charisma, thoughmixing multiple different scents will have a deleterious effect(again, like in real life).
Finally, you caninvest in multiple skillsto strengthen the Charisma stat. You’ll want to be on the lookout for these five when they become available.
