Aloftfeatures an incredible world where you can travel through the skies as you set up home islands and discover new biomes and unexplored islands. But before you get to all of that, you need to learn the basics of crafting and gathering materials. Once you’ve mastered these basics, you can go anywhere and restore any island in the game.

The sickle is one of the first tools that you can craft and is an integral part of the game. You’ll need to craft it to get seeds, which are used to restore the corrupted ecosystem, but crafting it can be a challenge without proper guidance.

How To Craft A Stone Sickle

You’ll need a sickle to cut off small plants, gather small plants, and collect plant seeds. First, you’ll have toset up a workbench. You can do it anywhere with five pieces of wood. Once you’ve set up a workbench, you can craft a Stone Sickle with the following items:

How To Obtain

2x Sharp Stone

Sharp stone can be crafted by combining two stones. you may do it even without a workbench. Simply head to your inventory and switch to the Crafting tab. Here, you can select two stones and craft them into a Sharp Stone. You’ll need at least two Sharp Stones to craft a Stone Sickle.

1x Wood

Wood is incredibly easy to get. you may collect wood by approaching the trees and gathering their branches, or you can use an axe to chop down the trees and gather wood.

1x Rope

Rope can be made with two pieces of Mykter Fibre. Mykter Fibre is dropped by mushroom enemies and the giant mushroom with tentacles on corrupted islands. Similar to the Sharp Stone, you can craft rope even without a workbench.

After you have all the required items, you’re able to craft a Stone Sickle on a workbenchandequip it. You cannot gather certain items without a sickle,such as glasswort and wheat. When you approach these plants, you’ll be shown asmall sickle icon, which shows that you can cut it down with a Stone Sickle.

While its primary function is to clear flora and small plants, you’re able to also use the Stone Sickle to fight against mushroom enemies and damage the weak points of gigantic mushrooms.
