As you explore different sectors of the sky inAloft, be sure you’re paying attention to the sheep and grabbing some wool, since you can take them back toyour home islandand use your workbench to combine them with all manner of rare materials to make different kinds of trinkets.
After installing them using the upgrade station and requisite piece for it, making trinkets in Aloft provides all kinds of powerful stat boosts to your weapons and tools. Pair any trinket with some of the meals with bonus effects, too, and you’re bound to pack a pretty powerful punch.
Make Trinkets And Install Them At The Upgrade Station
When you head to theWorkbenchafter first obtaining each of thebasic items necessary to makeone of the Trinkets in Aloft, you’ll be prompted with theyellow dots on the resources required, asking you to slot theminto the crafting menuto learn a new recipe. Once unlocked, you can re-make any Trinket easilyfrom any Workbench.
Once you’ve got a Trinket in hand, you’ll also needan Upgrade Station, as well as theCustomization upgradefor said Upgrade Station, which are some of the later recipes you unlock. After you have both recipes, place the Upgrade Station, then build the Customization Station directly into the frame. Then, with a Trinket in your inventory, go into the Customization menu of the Upgrade Station and install the Trinket from there.
Every Trinket has a bonus stat boostthat you’ll have on your character when using items that have these Trinkets installed. Most Trinkets are best suited for weapons, adding things like additional attacks in combos or letting you deal more damage to enemies, while others are more meant to be placed onto tools you’ll use for gathering resources. There’s no right or wrong place to put a Trinket, butconsider the Trinket’s stat boost before installing itinto a tool or weapon.

You’ll do just fine in Aloft without them, but Trinkets definitely make everything about navigating the sky islands just a little bit easier.
