During the battles inJujutsu Odyssey, your success will depend on two factors - your technique and the weapons you use. While technique is an individual thing, there aren’t many excellent weapons in the game, and most of them are quite difficult to obtain, as is the case with the Katana.
The Katana is a cursed weapon that you’re able to only get by successfully completing the Entrance Exam, which consists of four stages. So, if you haven’t heard of these exams before, verify to read our guide, where we’ll tell you about each of the tasks you need to complete to get the Katana.

How To Obtain The Katana
To get The Katana, you will need tocomplete the Entrance Exam. This is quite difficult to do, especially if you are a beginner and do it alone. In general, you will face several tests with a challenging Sukuna bossat the end.
It’s worth noting that you only have three lives per attempt on the exam, so considering the difficulty of the tasks, you will need more than one attempt.
Still, if you manage to complete them and get the Katana, your gameplay will change dramatically with this powerful weapon.
But, before starting the exam, you will need toreach level 20, which is a mandatory requirement. When it is done, move to theJujutsu Tech location. There, you should findSatoru Gojo NPC, dressed in a black suit. Aftertalking to him,you will start the exam. So,here are the four challengesthat await you:
Description
Find the seals
This is probably the easiest of the four challenges. You just need tofind three sealsthat are located in the Miwa area. It won’t take you long.
Kill ten mobs
In the second test, you will need tokill 10 enemiesthat Todo will tell you about. If you have already developed a fighting technique and understand the mechanics of the game, this won’t be difficult. Otherwise, you should cooperate with other players.
Defeat Jin Inumake and Honomura
The third test is much more difficult than the previous ones because here you will need todefeat the two best students of the academy. Fortunately, you can run far away from them to restore your health and, of course, cooperate with other players to finish them off faster.
Defeat Sukuna
The last step before finishing the exams is todefeat the difficult boss Sukuna. He has three phases, so it’s a good idea to learn the enemy’s moves so you don’t have to fight him repeatedly. If you’re not good at it, again, run away to restore HP and find a team to make it easier.
Once all four tests are completed, you’re done with the Entrance Exams. Among the other rewards you will receive is the long-awaited Katana, whichyou can immediately equip.
