As soon as you get into the giant world ofAvowed, you’ll commonly find chests when you explore the hidden areas on the map. While some of these chests can easily be opened by interacting with or lockpicking them, there are a few that can be a little more difficult but also more rewarding.
One of these is the Pyromancer’s chest that you can find to the north of Berath’s Gateway in Dawnshore. This is roughly in the middle of the left side of the area, and here’s how you can find the key to unlock it.
How To Find The Pyromancer’s Key
To get a hint about the Pyromancer’s Key’s location, you caninteract with the journal on top of a few barrels beside the tentnear the chest. This will tell you how the Pyromancer almost burned the tent and that he’s going to a nearby ridge to conduct his next experiment. The key can be found on this ridge.
To locate its general location, look towards the graveyard andyou’ll see a flag on top of one of the cliffs near it, which is your destination. Follow these steps to easily get there:
Go to the Pyromancer’s location and you’ll find anAnextli’s Grimoire, Charred Journal,Pyromancer key, and an essence potionother than some grenades. Head back down to the chest and unlock it to get an Amethyst, Common Grimoire of Embers, Vessel Bone, two Pelt, Softwood Branch, Iron Chunk, and four Grenades.
Grenades will be quite difficult to get early on in the game, so this chest and the process to get its key is agreat way to stack up on a few of them.
