A handful of new pros have been added to the roster inPGA Tour 2K25. While the suite of real world players isn’t as complete as many people may like, there are plenty to test out on the challenging courses included in 2025’s game.
However, arguably more exciting than the likes of Tiger Woods, you may play as Christopher McDonald in the game. He is the actor who plays Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, and is returning to the role for the sequel after the release of PGA Tour 2K25.
How To Unlock Christopher McDonald
Unfortunately for many,Christopher McDonald or Shooter McGavin is only unlocked as a pre order bonus for PGA Tour 2K25. No matter which version you pre ordered, you will have been given him as an extra in the roster. He’ll be waiting for you in game.
Unless 2K adds him to the store add a later date, or makes him free for everyone, there’s nothing you can do to unlock Christopher McDonald now that the game is out for everyone.
Christopher McDonald is 82 rated in PGA Tour 2K25, so there are better golfers to play as if you’re looking for someone with high stats.
How To Play As Shooter McGavin
You can play as Shooter McGavin in Quickplay, so head to that section of the game from the main menu. Then,choose new local roundand the match’s setting will appear.
Here,you’ll spot a Change Golfer option under your MyPlayeron the right side of the screen. When you select that, the list of all playable pros in the game will appear. You canscroll down and select Christopher McDonald from the list.
You can’t play as any pro in MyCareer or in online matchmaking, Christopher McDonald included.
