Like any fighting game, a core aspect ofBleach Rebirth of Soulsis resource management, like your power-ups and gauges. However, aside from the universal skillset, there are a handful of characters in this title that come with a few extra gimmicks, and one of them is Yasutora Sado, a core member of the World of the Living.
Despite the add-on mechanics, Yasutora is generally on the easier side of the roster, following all the fundamentals the game teaches you at the beginning. He’s not as powerful as some of the elites, but given how accessible and versatile he is, you can certainly pave your way to more than a few victories if you learn how he works.

Right Straight
Forward + Y/Triangle
Lets you rush in quickly to attack, closing the distance. Transitions quickly into Agresion on hit, letting you fill the Impact Gauge.
Agresion
B/Circle
Take a stance andcharge up power. Press again to consume the Impact Gauge andrelease a shockwave from your fist. Use Step while charging to move while maintaining the Impact Gauge. Filling up the Impact Gauge completely changes this to Penetracion.
Penetracion
(When Impact Gauge is full) B/Circle
Consume the entire Impact Gaugeto unleash a brutal blow, dealing proportional damage to the opponent’s Reishi. There is a Guard Pointat the moment of activation, letting you take opponent attacks while triggering it. Does more damage the closer you are to the opponent.

Alerta
LT/L2 + Y/Triangle
Clench your fist, strengthening yourself for a brief period. Attacks are stronger while this is active, and the Impact Gauge fills from Agresion more quickly.
Contraataque
LT/L2 + B/Circle
Move that throwsan uppercut punch while stepping forward. Gains Super Armor, and attack strength will rise if you receive enemy attacks during the move. However, Breaker-type attacks cannot be resisted.
Destroys 3 Konpaku.
Yasutora Sado In Offline And Online Matches
What separates Yasutora from the rest of the cast (and the main thing you’ll be utilizing) is his Impact Gauge, the blue meter above your Spiritual Power Gauge.
This bar fills up as you hold your Signature button, releasing a powerful medium-range punchthe moment you tap the button again. Once fully charged, the punch isn’t triggered immediately afterward; instead, you may store it and strike at any momentafter pressing the button again.

The only downside to this ability is thatyou can’t move or attack when charging up the Impact Gauge, but the payoff is definitely worth it. Not only dothese drawbacks vanish when the gauge maxes out, but the fully-charged punch at point-blank range knocks outa whopping 30 percent of the opponent’s current health.
You can cancel out of the Impact Gauge buildup with a dash or Flash Step. This will not reset the gauge.

One way toquickly fill up the Impact Gauge is via Alerta; by consuming 50 Spiritual Power, you gain a ten percent damage boost to all your attacks and a noticeable bump to how quickly the gauge charges up. While the extra damage is a welcome bonus, the main thing you have to do in this state isget to the fully-charged punch.
Beyond that, Yasutora’s other abilities, namely his Right Straight and Contraataque, are great for closing gaps. The latter, specifically, is a solid combo ender andhas i-frames to ignore the opponent’s interruptions. Your best bet is to pair them with Penetracion, using them as a lead-in move that transitions into a guaranteed hit.
Always rely on your Contraataque ability in mirror matches.
Overall, the optimal approach with Yasutora is tocreate space to build up the Impact Gauge. Once it’s at the brim, you may start playing aggressively, negating the opponent’s spacing tactics with Right Straight or Contraataque, then following up with a devastating hit.

Awakened Yasutora Sado In Offline And Online Matches
Although Awakened Yasutora may seem nearly identical on paper, there area couple of noteworthy upgrades that make him betterin this state. Still, they aren’t as dramatic as you’d expect, which is why his strategy remains unchanged —prioritize spacing and defense to charge your Impact Gauge, then close in to land a major blow.
Aside from the obvious Kikon Move enhancement, his Quick Attack and Flash Attack comboshave different animations and are easier to connect. However, you can no longer use Contraataque at the end of the combo.
Beyond that, all of Yasutora’s attacksnow deal ten to 20 percent more damage, translating into higher scaling and figures with Alerta. This is another reason you should use this Spiritual Pressure Move over Contraataque during Awakening, since you’re gainingbetter returns from the same low-risk Spiritual Move.
