How To Play Style Showdown
To play Style Showdown, go to the main Dress to Impress page on Roblox. Below the main banner image, you will find the option to join the event.Click on it to enter the lobby. Once inside,walk onto the platformandwait for nine other players to join. When the lobby is full, the game will begin.
You can also join during the game by clicking the ‘Style Showdown’ icon on the right side of your screen and selecting the mode from the menu.
How Does Style Showdown Work?
Style Showdown is acompetition between ten playerswherecontestants are eliminated each rounduntil only one remains. The gameplay follows thesame core mechanicsas regular Dress to Impress, requiring you to dress up your avatar based on a given theme.
However, there are a few key differences that set Style Showdown apart.
How Does Voting Work?
At the end of each round,players vote for their favorite outfits. The number of available votes decreases throughout the game as the player count diminishes. Earning votes grants Style Stars, while simply surviving a round also earns Style Stars.
ensure to vote each round, as voting ensures that you do not lose any Style Stars you have accumulated. Failing to gather enough stars increases the likelihood of losing.
To vote,click the star beneath the playerwhoseoutfit you want to support. You can purchase an Immunity Idol for 250 Robux by clicking the icon on the left. This prevents elimination for that round.
If you find yourself in the bottom two, you may have to participate in a Pose Sync challenge. In this minigame, pose icons will drop on the screen, and you must click the corresponding button as they align to match the sequence correctly.
In the final round, theremaining three players must type in the text chattoplead their casefor victory. Unlike previous rounds, do not remove your outfit, as this will leave your avatar with no clothing. The jury, consisting of eliminated players, will thenvote for their favorite contestantto determine the winner. If there is no jury (meaning every player who was eliminated left), the one with the most Style Stars wins.
