The newest event in Pokemon TCG Pocket doesn’t really offer anything new, but it does provide something you may need: Several rare Pokemon that are relevant in the current meta, and which may still be worthwhile as the Shining Revelry metagame develops.
Like all Mass Outbreak events, the Grass-Type Mass Outbreak offers you a chance to get a powerful ex Pokemon that you may not have opened yet, as well as other rare Grass-type cards and a new flair. But if this is your first time, leaf it to us to explain how it works.
Grass-Type Mass Outbreak Event Overview
The Grass-Type Mass Outbreak addsevent-specific Wonder Picksto the game, with both“Rare Picks” offering Leafeon exand other rare Grass-type Pokemon and “Bonus Picks” giving you some common Grass-type Pokemon and useful items.
How Long Does The Event Last?
The Grass-Type Mass Outbreak event runs fromMarch 24, 2025, until Jul 31, 2025, starting and ending at midnight Central Daylight Time. Since it goes live at the same time worldwide, it may start and end a few hours before or after midnight in your area.
What Can You Do In The Event?
During this event,Grass-type Pokemon will show up in both Rare and Bonus Picksin the Wonder Pick menu. These picks appear randomly, so verify you check frequently for more opportunities.
A new flair is available for Leafeon ex.The Petals Flair: White (Battle) creates a shower of white petalswhen your Leafeon ex comes into play. Like previous Mass Outbreak events, this flair is exclusive to the event (at least, for this particular Pokemon), and won’t be available after March 30th.
There are alsosix new, limited-time missionsyou can complete to earn Shop Tickets to use in the in-game shop.
Grass-Type Mass Outbreak Card List
During this event, you’ll occasionally see a “Rare pick available” icon over your Wonder Pick button, which indicates that you’ve got a shot at Leafeon ex and other cards from the Rare Pick list. Leafeon ex, Carnivine, and Serperior are always included in Rare Picks, with the remaining two slots rotating between four other Grass-type Pokemon.

Cards Appearing In Bonus Picks
Bonus Picks appear more frequently than Rare Picks, anddo not cost Staminato pick from. There are ten Pokemon that can appear, along with Pack Hourglasses, Wonder Hourglasses, and Shop Tickets.

Event Missions
Six missions reward you with Shop Tickets and Wonder Hourglasses during the event period. While you don’t need to take advantage of the event picks to complete these missions, they’re much easier in the limited timeframe if you hit multiple Bonus Picks.

Other Rewards
The final reward for the Grass-Type Mass Outbreak is a new flair for Leafeon. The Petals Flair: White (Battle) forLeafeon excosts one Leafeon ex card and 720 Shinedust. This flair creates a shower of white petals whenever Leafeon comes into play during battles.
