While playing through the MyCareer seasons on your own inPGA Tour 2K25is a lot of fun, golf is a game that’s supposed to be played with someone next to you on the tee box. You need to have local competitive fun, after all.
Thankfully, there are various multiplayer options away from MyCareer in PGA Tour 2K25. Whether you want to play locally from the comfort of your own couch or online against players from around the world, you can do so. You’ll even get rewarded for beating other players and can climb the leaderboards.
How To Play Online Multiplayer
To play online multiplayer in PGA Tour 2K25, you need tohead to the Compete tab from the main menu. From there, you canchoose Ranked Matchmaking, Ranked Tours, or Online Societies.
The former is the main multiplayer mode, which sees you play 1v1 or 2v2 to try and improve your rank.You need to select which game type you want to play to search for a match.
Ranked Tours are a separate mode in which you compete in daily or weekly events, but they’re not tied to the main ranking system. Finally, Societies are where you go to meet other players.
Gameplay in online matchmaking is automatically set to Pro difficulty and cannot be reduced.

Youincrease your rank by winning matches and beating other players. When you rank up, you’ll also get additional rewards.
How To Play With Friends
You can play with friends in various modes in PGA Tour 2K25. When matchmaking online, you caninvite a friend to your lobby to join in 2v2 or join with a room code. Select the way you want to do it and either invite your friend or enter the room code your friend sent to you.
Alternatively,you may also join using a room code or create a lobby when selecting offline quick play from the main menu. That’s the best option if you’re looking for a casual game.
How To Play Local Multiplayer
When choosing quick play from the main menu,press square if you’re on PlayStation 5 or X if you’re on Xbox with the controller turned on to add a second player.
You can then choose the match set up and course details for the match, selecting the rules and location for the round.
you’re able to only play local multiplayer in offline Quick Play matches or online ranked 2v2 matches. It is not available in MyCareer.
