As you progress through the main story ofAvowed, you’ll consistently enter new main areas likeDawnshore,Emerald Stairs,Shatterscarp, andGalawain’s Tusk. All these areas will have many things in common, with one of them being the presence of a major human settlement.
The people of The Living Lands have gone through a lot, so none of these settlements will be quite as fancy as you might imagine. However, they’ll be a major part of the story, which is also true for Solace Keep.

Where To Find Solace Keep
Once you get through themain story of Shatterscarp, you’ll have a clear destination to end the suffering of people in The Living Lands, and this destination will be The Garden. You’ll learn that the path to The Garden goes through Galawain’s Tusk, which is when you’ll enter this area.
Solace Keep is the main and the last human settlement you’ll find in Avowed, and you may see it on the northern side of the map. To get here, simply follow the roads going north from the entrance and cross the bridgebefore turning right. However, you won’t be able to enter here like the other settlements.

How To Enter Solace Keep
So far, you’ve been able to simply walk into the main cities like Paradis, Fior Mes Iverno, and Thirdborn. However, if you get to Solace Keep as soon as you enter Galawain’s Tusk, you won’t be able to enter since theonly path to the city has a bridge that’s pulled up by the residents.
If you want to get this bridge to fall, you’ll first have to continue the main story quest called “Our Dreams Divide Us Still”. This quest will take you to thebridge to The Garden on the southeast side of Galawain’s Tusk. Here, you’ll find the bridge broken but also clues about another path.
When you interact with this,Marius will mentionthat the people of Solace Keep will know moreabout it if he’s in your party.
At this point, you may take Marius to Solace Keep and enter the cityafter having a chat with the guarding Warden.
