NPCs inFortnite: Chapter 6, Season 2Battle Royale can be a great asset to you and your team by providing you with weapons or healing items you can buy, or allowing you to hire them and fight alongside you. When all seems lost, assistance from an NPC could be what helps you survive until end game.
In addition to purchasing items and recruiting, some NPCs can also give you gifts, andone of the weekly quests is to do just that: Receive two gifts from characters in a single match. But how do you receive gifts from the NPCs, and what do you get? This guide has all the info you need to get to receive your gifts.
How To Receive Gifts From Characters
To receive a gift from an NPC,you first have to find them. Open your map while you’re in a match, then tab over to the Characters Menu, and it’llshow you where every character islocated on the map, whether you’ve unlocked them or not.
You can also see this in the lobbyby opening the Quests menu, scrolling down to Collections, then selecting the Characters tab.
Once you’ve found a character, go up to them andinteract with them. The first time you interact with the character in a matchthey will give you a gift immediately.
This gift willeither be a Med Kit or a Shield Potion, and sometimes the NPCs rotate which one they give you. Even if you don’t need to buy any of their services or items, getting a gift will not onlyhelp you get your weekly quest done, but it’s an easy way to get a healing item that you may need.
Not every NPC will give you a gift!The ones that don’t offer a gift when you interact are:
