Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2features some characters that can be romanced. Those characters are pretty interesting and make the whole experience way better. One such character is Rosa Ruthard, whom you can romance in the late game.
Rosa is one of the most well-written characters in the game, which makes it even more enjoyable to be able to romance her. The game doesn’t tell you how to romance or what options to choose in order to do so. Here, we will tell you how to romance Rosa without much trouble.
You won’t be able to romance Rosa instantly; the relationship is developed with the series of quests. Based on different interactions, you will be able to romance her during the Oratores main quest.
Find Rosa’s Book During Taking French Leave Quest
You will first meet Rosa during the Via Argentum quest line. During the quest,you will get to know a little about her character and how smart she actually is. After you have completed that quest, you will get to know her moreduring the Taking French Leave mission.
In this quest, your main objective is torescue the good old Sir Hans Caponvia the tunnel Rosa told you about. However, she also asked for a favor, which is necessary if you want to romance her.Rosa asks you to bring her book;this starts a side quest that can easily be missed.
If you didn’t bring Rosa’s book during the Taking French Leave mission,then no matter what you do, you won’t be able to romance her. Getting her book is the initial and the most important step in order to romance her.
During the Taking French Leave quest on the second floor of the tower, there will be a woman.You can either knock her out or intimidate her using your skills. After that, you can easily grab the book by the window.
Following the quest’s completion,ensure to give her the book. Before giving it back to her, read it once to increase your reputation.

After you have given the book back to Rosa,help her write a story in the same book.

Saving Rosa From Von Bergow
Now,the final obstacle between Henry and Rosa is von Bergow. During theDancing with the Devil quest, you will learn that Rosa has been taken hostage in Maleshov Fortress. You are given four options:
The best option to pick here is the first one. You must never pick the last option as she will get upset you don’t care for her safety.It doesn’t matter if you fail the skill check.You must not select the last option.
If you hit a skill check failure, choose these options:
Now,you must defeat the enemies in the tower to trigger a cutscene.
We didn’t kill all the enemies, and the cutscene was triggered, sothere could be a time limit on how long you have to survive, or you may have to kill a specific number of enemies.
Getting Rosa Her Home Back
During the Oratores quest, you are given an objective to follow Rosa to the Ruthard castle.Follow her through the secret passageway and make sure to pick her up when she stops mid-way. After that, your aim is to defeat all of the enemies in the castle and get inside her room.
Before going to her room, you may wash yourself in the courtyard. Once you are in, talk to Rosa and choose these options:
If you don’t get the option to kiss Rosa, you must not have enough reputation with her, or you may have missed a previous step.
After choosing these options,you will be given the final option to kiss herso do. Once you kiss her, a cutscene will start featuringan intimate scene between Henry and Rosa. During the last quest in the game, Rosa will appear again for a final goodbye.
