Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2is a deep and complex game. Everything little thing you do in the game has some extra steps added to it. You’re rarely able to do something with just the press of a few buttons. Since the game is so realistic, you’ll die regularly and often do things you’d rather not repeat over and over again.
Therefore, saving in the game is vital, and it’s not as simple as it is in other open-world RPGs. The game doesn’t constantly save for you as you wander around the world. Since anything can happen as you explore the towns or forests, you’ll want to make sure you’re never losing more than a few minutes of progress.

How To Save
There arethree ways to savein Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, some of which are much more useful than others:
The easiest way to save is tolet the game automatically save at key points in the story. Normally at the end of cutscenes, an icon will show in the bottom right of the screen, followed by the words ‘Game Saved’ appearing in the middle of the screen.

Alternatively, you canpause the game and choose Save and Quitto go back to the main menu. This is the easiest way to choose exactly when you save when you’re out in the open. Since the loading times are quite fast, you can quit and get back to exactly where you are in just a minute or so.
The downside of saving using the Save and Quit option is that there’s only one file dedicated to it, which is overwritten each time you use it.

Finally, SaviourSchnappsreturn for the sequel. They are a consumable potion that allows you to save at any time when out in the world without quitting the game. You have to have one in your inventory to use this method, and they’re not easy to get.
