How To Unlock Rail Stations

Rail Stations can be unlocked by researching theIndustrializationtechnology in the Modern Age. Once you’ve unlocked it, you will be able to build Rail Stations as districts in your cities. You don’t have to do anything beyond building the stations to connect the cities in your empire, as a railroad will automatically connect anyland-connected citiesin your territory. This will increase a unit’s movement on railroad titles and allow you to transport units between rail stations.

Unlike previous Civilization games, you don’t need to manually construct the railroad.
