As you explore the mysterious island you and your friends land on inHello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll quickly come across equally mysterious ruins scattered around. First, you had to solve the ones near the Resort to find enough Yellow Power Crystals, and now there’s another set of them for you to delve into.
Not all of them are required, but they often hold treasure for you to find if you’re able to brave their challenges: materials, quest items, or even furniture. As long as you don’t mind facing up against a haunted mansion and an ornery guard to get access to them, you’ve got nothing to be afraid of.

How To Unlock The Spooky Swamp Puzzle Rooms
Unlike thePuzzle Rooms at the Resort, this time, you’ll need to havecompleted some quests instead of having companions help youunlock the doors.
First, you’ll have to complete themain story mission, Power Up The Gate, so that youget access to Spooky Swamp, and then you’llneed to do Re-Haunt The Swamp, given to you once youreach friendship level four with Kuromi.

During that quest, you’ll journey around Spooky Swamp withKuromi,collecting all three Green Power Crystalsscattered around andputting them back in their place.Once all three are in their spots,all the Puzzle Rooms will be unlocked, and you may complete them whenever you want.
Thermal Throwdown Puzzle Room Solution
This room is one of the easiest to access, and it’s locatedalong the shore on the southeastern sideof Spooky Swamp. As soon as you’re inside,grab the first Yellow Blockand set it on theCircle Pressure Plate by the entrance.
Glide across to theother side of the gap, activate theWind Block, and use it to float up andglide over to the second Yellow Blockon the platform.

Bring thesecond Yellow Blockdown to thesecond Circle Pressure Plate on the bottom floor, then go back up and glide over to thenow-open Circle Door. Grab thesecond Wind Blockfrom the room and bring it to theClover Pressure Plate closest to the gap.
Move theother two Yellow Blocks around,placing one on theClover Pressure Plateby the entrance and the other on theClover Pressure Plate on the bottom floor. Activate the Wind Block at the entrance,fly up to the floating bridge, then glide from it to thenow-open Clover Doorto grab the chest inside and get yourreward of five Sticks.

Tricky Triangulation Puzzle Room Solution
This Puzzle Room is located at thetop of the tall hill on the northeastern sideof Spooky Swamp, justup from the graveyardwhere Kuromi tends to hang out.
Bring thefirst Yellow Block downto theHeart Pressure Plateand use it to raise all the stairs. Go up the stairs andbring the second Yellow Block downto theTriangle Pressure Platenear the entrance. Grab theBridge Block, set itin front of the Star Door, and thenactivate it to make a bridgeabove you.

Bring theWind Blockover, set itnext to the Bridge Block, then activate it. Take theYellow Block off the Triangle Pressure Plateand set it downoutside the Triangle Door.
Jump off, go down to the bottom, andmove the Yellow Blockfrom the Heart Pressure Plate to theTriangle Pressure Plateto open the doors up again, thenride the Wind Block up to the bridge. Go through the open doors,grab the Yellow Block outside, and bring it over to theStar Pressure Plate. Go back down and go through the now-open Star door to get achest containing three Floursas a reward.

Crumble Rumble Puzzle Room Solution
For this Puzzle Room, you’ll need to haveobtained the Flippersandthe Snorkelto reach it, as it’sunder the water at the southern endof the area, near the path leading up to the actual swamp. Carefullyjump across the first handful of blocksuntil you reach the safe zone in the middle. Take thecrumbling path to the left, grab theYellow Block, and thencross back to the middleonce the stones are back.
Take theright pathnow, bring theYellow Block to the Star Pressure Plate, and place it on it. Return to the center again, then head up the middle pathto the now-open Star Door for achest containing 15 Sticks.

Hidden Hearts Puzzle Room Solution
This Puzzle Room is located on thenorthwestern sideof Spooky Swamp, and it’sbuilt into the cliff next to the large waterfallsouth of the Ghost Tourfast-travel mailbox.
Exiting the Puzzle Room early won’t reset the board, but mistakes can be corrected manually with the buttons.
In the first part of this puzzle, you’ll need touse the buttons on the bottom and right sidesof the board tomake every symbol a heart.Use thebottom row of buttonsto move theHeart symbols down to the bottom rowclosest to it, then go to thebuttons on the right side.
Avoid adjusting the completed row of hearts, andpress the upper three right buttonsuntil each of the rows is full of hearts toopen the doorat the top of the stairs. Go through the now-open Heart Door and get yourreward of three Floursfrom the chest.
Bottomless Bouldering Puzzle Room Solution
The final Puzzle Room is locatedslightly northwest of the graveyard in the middle of the lake, near the middle of Spooky Swamp.
Inside,jump across the first three Falling Boulder Tilesand quicklyclimb up the Climbing Wallon the side of thenext section of the roombefore you fall into the bottomless pit.
Go up the stairs andaround to the edgeof the one-block-wide bridge. Let the camera angle change, thenjump to your full height and glide overto the other side of the room. Approach theedge of the next Climbing Wall section, lower yourself onto it, and thenclimb to the next section.
Run to theedge of the Falling Boulder Tile, jump, andglide over the gapbefore it drops. Climb up the single Climbing Wall, thengo around to the next portion of Climbing Walls, and use them to get to thenext safe zone.
Stick to thetop of the Climbing Wall Tiles when going around the corner to avoid potentially falling offinto the bottomless pit.
Run over the next Falling Boulder Tiles andgrab onto the Climbing Walls before you fall, go around to the next part, and thenup the stairs to one more Climbing Wall sectionup top.
Carefullywrap around the tower, then once you’re at the top,jump and glide acrossto where the stairs are. Open the chest, and you’ll get theSpooky Lounge Sofa as a reward.
