Your collection inTwo Point Museumincludes some valuable artifacts from across the county and beyond. That means that they’re going to attract the attention of would-be heisters looking to make a quick buck. If you aren’t careful, you could suddenly find yourself looking at an empty display stand where your prized Exhibit once stood.
Security Guards are the only way to thwart thieves and vandals, but you’ll need to be smart with how you deploy them throughout the museum. This guide has everything you need to know about museum security, so that the people of Two Point County can continue to enjoy your Exhibits.

How Criminals Operate In Two Point Museum
Each guest that arrives in your museum has asmall chance of being a criminal in disguise. You won’t get any prior warning if a guest has nefarious intentions, but your Security Guards are trained to notice suspicious behavior; disguised criminals in the line of sight of aSecurity Guard or Camerahave a chance of being exposed.
Criminals will move throught the museum like normal guests until they eitherlose their nerveorchoose an Exhibit to target.Seeing lots of guards, cameras, and Exhibits with theSecurity Sticker perkwill demoralize criminals, and enough of these may cause them togive up and leave without causing trouble.

If a criminal chooses to either vandalize or steal an Exhibit, they willchange their clothes, revealing themselves as a criminal, and make their move. From that point on, they can be apprehended by any Security Guard that gets close enough to them.
Best Ways To Stop Criminals
Even the best security staff can’t be everywhere at once, so it pays to have a strategy in place toprevent as many crimes as possible.
Watch The Exits
Thieves have to make their escape somehow, so if you have aSecurity Chairwith coverage over every possible exit, they’re much less likely to get away without running straight into a security guard. The guard also has a chance ofnoticing disguised criminals as soon as they enter, stopping them before they have a chance to try anything.
The Boggymen sneak into the museum via the plumbing, entering and exiting through the toilets. Keep a guard posted near the bathrooms to watch out for these aquatic thieves!
Cameras Don’t Catch Criminals
Cameras have their uses - specifically, alerting security if a crime occursanddeterring criminals from going through with their plans, but just catching a thief on camera won’t actually stop them once they commit. When a criminal is spotted on camera, thenearest available guardwill attempt to catch them, but they won’t always succeed.
When you get an alert saying that a criminal has been spotted, pause the game and open the staff menu. Find the guard that’s pursuing the criminal andmanually move them to the offender. This guarantees that you’ll catch them!
you’re able to also just hire a new guard and drop them right on the would-be thief.
Criminal Guilds
Occasionally, the museum will come under attack by a criminal guild, an organized heist consisting of about three criminals at once. Each guard can only handle one offender at a time, so be sure that you have enough staff to deal with the entire gang.
It’s very important that youdon’t reassign a guard until they’re done escorting a caught criminal from the map.If an apprehended criminal no longer has an escort, they’llimmediately try to recover their stolen Exhibit, and proceed with their heist as planned unless they get caught again.
