After Memento Miles, Passwater Cove, and Wailon Lodge, it’s time for you to venture into the more… unusual museums ofTwo Point Museum. One of the two next on your list is Bungle Wasteland, and this desert location not only sports an abandoned museum full of trash, but some secrets left beneath the earth.
You’ll have to work not only to restore your new museum, but also to fix the issues that Bungle Technology has left behind in this once-beautiful location. There are contraptions and strange machines to build, dangerous facilities to send your staff to, and even some helpful robots.

Bungle Wasteland Overview
Bungle Wasteland is going to beone of the tougher maps, as until youget your first Star or let time passto amassas many Exhibit Showcases as possiblefor the cash rewards, youaren’t going to have much money.
Youstart off with a decent amount, but it’ll quickly go down as you’ll alreadyneed to build additional museum sections, and yourWorkshop will get used almost constantly, more than almost any other location.

Instead of looking for Exhibits, you’ll mostly begoing on Expeditions to find materials, ScienceProject-specific perks, andnew Workshop Projectsfor your Science Experts to create as Exhibits.
Most of them alsohave upgraded versions you can obtain, and youwon’t want to just stick to one Exhibit themehere due to certain objectives and how Custom Contraptions work.

Bungle Wasteland One Star Rating Guide
Groundbreaking
First things first on this map, you’ll want tobuild a Workshopsomewhere. Start hiring some basic staff, especiallyScience Experts and Janitors with the Workshop skill, as they’re going to be themost important staffon this map, next to Assistants.
If youdon’t get a Janitor with the Workshop skill right away, go ahead andmake a small Training Roomso you can train one, and make sure tosell the giant piles of trasharound for some extra cash.

While not mandatory, it’sbetter to go ahead and build a second building on the available plot while you have the moneyfor it so you have room for the Science Exhibits.
Once you’re set up, it’s time to start making Expeditions, and the first is toOreful Quarryso you canstart getting Metal, one of thethree major resourcesfor making Science Projects in the Workshop.Safewill tend to get you around50 Metal, whileDetailedones will get youaround 85.

Custom Contraptions
This is theshortest and easiest setof objectives.Hire any Science Expertthat shows up on the hiring list as long as theydon’t have too many negative traits, and then have them make a Spa Point in the Workshop.
When it’s done, place it downsomewhere, make sure it’sproperly decorated, get your info stands and Donation Boxes up like usual, and you’ll already be onto thenext objective set, A Science Museum?.

Don’t bother selling older versions of Workshop Inventions, especially if they have perks installed. Theycount as separate Exhibits so you can leave both down to help boost your donationsand improve your museum’s buzz.
A Science Museum?
For thefirst two objectives, those willpretty much happen automaticallyas long as you’vegot at least one or two Exhibits down, and Donation Boxes available, and having a Janitor in Fire-Resistance can be done by hiring one or training one in it.
TheSpa Point IIis also easy to make: it justrequires 15 people to see a Spa Point to unlock its projectin the Workshop, and it onlyneeds 50 Metal.

Thereal challengeof this set is going to begetting Exhibits from three different themes, as you’re stillnot going to have much cashat this point, you’ll need more Experts, and many of theExpeditions for other themes are much more expensive. For this, you’ll want to prioritize the cheapest Expeditions and themes, such as:
Prehistory and Supernatural will be thecheapest overall, as youwon’t need extra buildingsfor them like you would for most Marine Exhibits, thoughSpace Exhibits also aren’t too badas far as cash expenses either.

Exhibits from the Exhibit Showcase challenges also count towards the theme objective as they’re part of their own category, and can be an even cheaper way to get it done if you don’t mind waiting.
Sickly Situation
Thebiggest hurdlein this set is that you’llneed to save or have at least 40,000 cashif you haven’t already, as you’rerequired to analyze at least one Sickly Pearfor it, andthis locationtends to leave you withless money overall at first.
First, you’ll need tounlock Allotment Labsby unlocking thePOI obstruction with Bungle Keycard #1, and you’ll want to go ahead and send an Expedition off toget your first Sickly Pearand place it down togo ahead and start getting donations from itand new guest types.

If you’re set with Workshop Projects and your Staff for the moment, you cantemporarily get rid of your Workshop and Training Rooms, build an Analysis Room to analyze the Sickly Pear, then get rid of it and rebuildthe others once you’re finished.
During this time, you canget extra perks from the older Points of Interestand install them where you’re able to if you haven’t already, and thebonus from the new Exhibitsshould get youover the 250 Buzz visit objectiveif it’s not already done,as well as the quarterly profitone.
When you’ve got asecond Sickly Pear, or anyother type of Botany exhibitand an Analysis Room up, go ahead andanalyze it to unlock the next set of objectives, and get somemore Botany Enlightenmentat the same time.
Pear Shaped
The next big objective is theMulch-o-Matic and Plant Camouflage. First, you’ll need tounlock the Surplus Supplies POI, which isdone by doing two Expeditions to Oreful Quarry, and get yourself50 Whirlicogs from Surplus Supplies.
Once you have the Whirlicogs, build a Mulch-o-Maticand put it down wherever is best, thenstart working on getting Botany Exhibitsfor it – you’llonly need onefor the Plant Camouflage.
Theeasiest and most cost-effective wayto get enough exhibits for it is to keepgoing to Allotment Labs for Sickly Pears. Each Expedition isonly 5,000 Cash,so it’s a lotcheaper than other Botany-based Expeditionsin other places, and withminimal risks.
Even with the Plant Camouflage, you may lose a Scientist or Janitor to the MIA event as it’s a separate encounter. You have to pick between one of them to lose, so try to send off staff who don’t have a high rank or many skills to avoid losing someone valuable.
When youget the Plant Camouflage, it’s time totake an Expedition to the Water Valveand get rid of the obstruction. As soon as that’s complete, you’llget a one Star Ratingfor Bungle Wastelands, whichrewards you with 25,000 cash,150 Kudos, the Desert Twigs decoration item, and the incredibly usefulIllness Elixer item and Workshop recipe.

Trials & Errors
The first thing to do isput down the Bungle Booster Boxand get started on getting people to view it. Anywhere will do as long as youmeet the basic criteria: enough space, maximum decoration, and hitting the Buzz Bonus.
One of the major parts of this objective is getting your museum’s rating over 60 percent, and you may already have this completed. If not, verify youhave plenty of info boards, your ticket price isn’t too high, your exhibits are well decorated, and your guest’s happiness is high.
While this is happening, go ahead andget rid of the Bungle Security Door #2 obstruction for 5,000 cash. It’ll be the same as the other one: asingle Science Expertand theBungle Keycard #2 has to be your cargo.
Yourmain objectiveis theChemical Labs, but itrequires a Tour with a rating of at least 3.0 Stars, which is easy to do, but it’sworth it to go to Security Labsas well, as it has anew Workshop Project: the Panoptic Pillar.
Aneasy way to get a tour with a rating of 3.0 is to have a tour setup of only one or two Exhibitswith high buzz and maximum decorations.
When you’re able to go to theChemical Labs, this Expedition is going tocost 5,000 cash, have alength of 15 days, and you’ll havethree negative eventsto deal with:
Chance to give staff members the Broken Face injury.
Broken Face reduces Happiness by 25 percent.
A combined rank of eight among the staff, or a First Aid Kit.
Chance to give the staff members the Hurty Leg injury.
Hurty Leg reduces Movement Speed by 50 percent.
A combined rank of ten among the staff, or a First Aid Kit.
Chance to give the staff members the Pear Poisoning illness.
Pear Poisoning reduces Toilet Comfort significantly.
A combined rank of 15 among the staff, or an Illness Elixier.
When you’veobtained the Judgement Clouder designfrom Chemical Labs, make it in the Workshopas soon as possible to move onto the next set of objectives.
Stench Warfare
Theeasiest two objectivesin this set are theWorkshop and displaying three different Exhibit themes, as you’ll likely already have this completedunless your third theme was dependent on an Exhibit Showcaseor you opted to sell excessive Exhibits for cash once that objective was done.
For the Workshop, use some of your Kudosh tounlock extra Decoration itemsandplace them downuntil it’s up to arating of five.
If you need toget 300 Buzz, there areseveral things you can doto get it, such as: get andinstall as many Buzz-related perks as possibleon your Custom Contraptions, explore other POIsfor anyWorkshop Projects you haven’t unlocked already, and verify you’reupgrading ones you have.
After completing this last set of objectives, you’ll successfullyobtain a Two Star Ratingfor Bungle Wasteland and, as a reward, you’ll get25,000 cash,150 Kudosh, and theFlowering Cactus and Science Bin decoration items.
