The later stages ofSatisfactoryare simultaneously the most organized stages, and the most chaotic. There is so much going on at the same time, and you’ve likely set up so many different systems that are all working in tandem with one another, that you may be forgiven for not immediately understanding how each new item is made.
One of the items you’ll be making a bit of in the final stage of Satisfactory are Time Crystals. These are used in a few different endgame recipes that you’ll have to make, but the process of actually making Time Crystals has a few different steps involved, along with certain prerequisites.

How To Make Coal Into Diamonds
Once you’veset up some Coal production, the next step in making Time Crystals is going to bemaking that Coal into Diamonds. These Diamonds are going to be what’s made into Time Crystals, so you’ll need them on hand to begin.
You will beunable to make Diamondsin the Particle Acceleratoruntil you unlock the Matter Conversion Milestone in Tier 8 of the HUB.

How To Make Diamonds In A Particle Accelerator
Making Diamonds is not a terribly complicated process, but itdoes require getting to Tier 9 in the HUB. But to start, once in Tier 8, you’ll need tounlock the Particle Accelerator, which is part of unlocking theParticle Enrichment Milestone.
TheParticle Accelerator uses quite a bit of energy, and the energy that it uses is variable, depending on the recipe it’s working on, and how far along it is in the process. You’llneed a substantial power gridin order to make this work, but the Nuclear Power Milestone, also in Tier 8, should be helpful with that.

In the Particle Accelerator, it is going to take20 Coalin order to makeone Diamond, at a rate of30 Diamonds per minute, or oneDiamond every two seconds. This is going to use a range of 250MW up to 750MW.

How To Make Diamonds Into Time Crystals
Once you’ve got the Diamonds you’re looking to make into Time Crystals, you’llneed to create your Converter, found in theMatter Conversion Milestone of Tier 9 in the HUB, alongside Diamonds and Time Crystals.
If you’re looking toupgrade your Coal production, this Milestone can help in that regard, too. TheSAM scannable resourceand thecrafted Reanimated SAMare found in this Milestone, and they areboth ingredients for creating Coal in a Converter, too. This canhelp increase your Coal production tremendously, and is particularly helpful if you’re looking to make large quantities of Diamonds/Time Crystals.

How To Use Your Converter To Make Time Crystals
At the Converter,Diamonds can be made into Time Crystals at a ratio of 2:1 for Diamonds:Time Crystals. Each process will take ten seconds. There are no alternative recipes for making Time Crystals, though two Diamonds of any kind will work.
