Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaiisees Majima taking on the role of a pirate captain aboard the Goromaru, sailing the seas around Honolulu and exploring treasure islands. During your adventures, you’ll find there is a wealth of content to explore, much of which is entirely optional.
If you’re looking to 100 percent complete the game and earn each and every trophy and achievement, you’ll have to delve into everything that the game has to offer. Here’s everything you need to know, with a complete breakdown of each accolade and how to unlock it.
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii(PlayStation only)
Obtained all trophies.
This is thePlatinum trophy for PlayStation players onlyand will not appear for Xbox or PC users. It will automatically unlock once you have earned all other trophies.
This is story-related and cannot be missed.
The Old Man and the Sea
Legendary Mad Dog
Obtained 60 abilities.
You canpurchase and upgrade abilities from the main menu, with each one costing cash. You’ll need tounlock 60 abilities totalto earn all the relevant trophies/achievements.
Many abilities will not unlock until you have purchased pre-requisite abilities, or until you have progressed far enough in certain content, such as increasing Pirate Rank.
Boomerang Lover
Used the cutlass boomerang on enemies 100 times.
While in Sea Dog style,press X on Xbox/Square on PlayStation/left click on PC to use your cutlass boomerang. Using this against enemies 100 times will unlock this.
Chain Hook Expert
Used the chain hook on enemies 50 times.
You unlock the Chain Hook in Chapter Two, after which you canuse it in battle while in Sea Dog style. PressB on Xbox/Circle on PlayStation/or E on PCto use it to grapple towards enemies. Do it a total of 50 times to unlock this.
Pistol Aficionado
Used the pistol on enemies 50 times.
In Sea Dog style, you canpress Y on Xbox/Triangle on PlayStation/right click on PC to fire your pistol. Use this 50 times against enemies to unlock this.
Majima Everywhere
Created a total of 56 doppelgangers.
While in Mad Dog style,when your Madness Gauge is full, you can use RT (or Q on PC) to summon your doppelgangers. Once you have used this enough to have summoned 56 doppelgangers, this achievement/trophy will unlock.
TIP:Purchasing the ‘More Majima’ ability will summon more doppelgangers at a time.
The Man Who Summoned the Gods
Played every Dark Instrument.
There arefour Dark Instruments in total, with the first being unlocked as part of the storyline and unmissable. You need to collect and play each one to unlock this.
Divine Intervention
Summon the gods with Dark Instruments 30 times.
You don’t need to have unlocked all Dark Instruments to get this, as you can simply use the one you get as part of the storyline over and over.Summon the Dark Gods 30 timesto unlock this. You canonly use Dark Instruments when in Sea Dog styleby pressing RT (or Q on PC) when the Madness Gauge is full.
Fashionable Fingers
Equipped Rings on all ten fingers at once.
There are lots of rings to be found throughout the game, though each ring only has specific fingers it can be equipped on. You need a ring on all ten fingers to unlock this. Rings can be found:

Super Bounty Hunter
Completed 50 Bounty missions.
There arebounties all over the map marked with the handcuffs symbol. You must challenge and defeat them to complete a bounty, andcompleting 50 will unlock all related achievements/trophies.
Legends of the Sea
Achieved the rank of Legends of the Sea.
Everything you do in the game helps you to increase your Pirate Rankand once you read a five-star rank, Legends of the Sea, you’ll unlock your final rank-related achievement/trophy.
Go Pirates, Go Go Go!
Recruited 80 members to the Goro Pirates.
There are recruitable crew members found all over, with each marked on the map, whileothers are recruited by completing story or side content.
Map-based crew members have their ownpre-requsities you must meet before they will join your crew, such as reaching a certain Pirate Rank, or giving them a specific item.
Bonds Between Boys
Viewed all of Noah’s Drink Links.
You need tocomplete all Bond Chats with Noah to be able to view all Drink Linkswith him. We have guides for both here:

Ace of the Coliseum
Master of the Coliseum
Won 30 different matches in the Pirates' Coliseum.
You need to win 30 Pirates' Coliseum matches total to unlock all the related achievements/trophies. We have guides for the various modes here:
Legend of the Coliseum
Defeated the Amon Pirates.
After completing all matches in the Pirates' Coliseum, a new challenge will appear: the Amon Pirates. Defeat them to unlock this, we havea guide on this here.
Remember the Goro Pirates!
Defeated the leader of the Devil Flags.
Devil Flag battles are optional bosses marked on sea mapswith the red Devil Flag icon. Progressing through the Devil Flag content and beating all officers will unlock this.
Island Adventurer
Completed ten different islands.
you’re able to land on different islands with a crew and battle your way through enemies to hopefully score yourself some treasure at the end.Complete ten islandssuccessfully to unlock this.
Expert Treasure Hunter
Obtained 40 different treasures.
There are plenty of treasures to be found in Pirate Yakuza, and if you want to complete the Treasury of Treasures, you’ll want to track down them all. There are a few ways to find treasures, andyou’ll need 40 totalto unlock the relevant achievements/trophies.
My Glorious Goromaru
Obtained 50 customization parts for the Goromaru.
You can customize the Goromaru with different parts, including Hull, Sails, Figurehead, and Trimming. You need toobtain 50 parts total, and these can be:
Julie-chan’s Biggest Fan
Created three different cannons at Julie’s Gearworks.
Once you’ve unlocked Julie’s Gearworks, you’ll be able to craft cannons and other items here. Some cannons will only appear in the craft list once you have crafted the base version. You need tocraft three cannonsin order to unlock this.
Rocket Sniper
Sunk five enemy ships with the rocket launcher.
While in battle at sea, you canswitch to deck view and use Majima’s Rocket Launcheron enemy ships.Sink five ships this wayto unlock this achievement/trophy.
Domestic Pirate
Cooked all recipes.
Goro Goro Kitchenis the first minigame you’ll unlock in Pirate Yakuza and there are plenty of recipes to cook. You have tocook each recipe at least once to unlock this.
Trendsetter
Obtained 100 types of clothing items.
You can customize Majima’s outfit in the game, styling him for both Mad Dog and Sea Dog.Collecting 100 types of clothing itemswill unlock all relevant achievements/trophies. Clothing items can be:
Memories of Honolulu
Took 30 different photos for the Photo Rally.
Once you’ve unlocked Photo Rallies in Chapter Two, taking 30 different Photo Rally pictures overall will unlock this. We have guides for each Photo Rally here:
Extreme Extrovert
Befriended 50 people through Aloha Links.
There are 200 NPCs to befriend in Honolulu—we havea complete list here—and befriending 50 of them will unlock this.
By Hook or By Crook
Traveled using the chain hook 20 times.
There arehooks hidden around the mapthat you can use to travel upwards to new ledges or as shortcuts with your Chain Hook. Do this 20 times to unlock this.
Hooking and Gathering
Captured 30 fish and bugs with the chain hook.
you may find bugs flying in the sky or crawling around on the floor, while fish are in the ocean and other bodies of water (including swimming pools). Simplyuse your Chain hookto catch 30of them to unlock this.
Main Story? What’s That?
Completed 20 substories.
There are lots ofsubstories all over the Honolulu map, some of which you’ll be thrown into automatically as you progress through the game.Completing 20 substories will unlock this.
My Dream Minato Girl
Partied with the Minato Girls and found true love.
Starting with’My Dream Minato Girls', which you’ll automatically unlock in Chapter Three, you’ll then have various substories related to tracking down and meeting the five Minato girls.Complete this substory chainto unlock this.
Party Pirate
Played ten different minigames.
There are lots of minigames across all maps including the Goromaru. You need toplay ten unique minigamesin total to unlock this, so for example playing Karaoke from both Revolve Bar and the Goromaru would only count as one, not two.
High-speed Pirate
Won three different cups in Dragon Kart.
You canplay Dragon Kart from Chapter Two onwards, it’s found in the bottom left corner of the Honolulu map, just off Harbor Street.Win three different cupsin Dragon Kart to unlock this.
Sea Shanties
Enjoyed karaoke on the deck of the Goromaru.
Choose toplay the karaoke minigame from within Majima' captain’s cabin aboard the Goromaruand you will do karaoke on the deck of the ship and unlock this.
Erudite Pirate
Obtained five certificates from the Ounabara Vocational School.
The Ounabara Vocational School is locatedon Habor Street on the western side of the Honolulu map. You need tocomplete five teststo earn five certificates to earn this.
Crazy Captain
Completed all Crazy Delivery courses.
There arefour courses increasing in difficulty over two locations, Anaconda Boulevard and Aloha Street, meaning there areeight in total. We havea full guide on Crazy Delivery here.
Barrel Basher
Destroyed a total of 1,500 barrels at the Bang Bang Batting Center.
TheBang Bang Batting Center in Madlantishas you playing baseball, only the aim is to destroy battles and score big. You’ll need tosmash a total of 1,500 barrelsto unlock this. We havea full guide on the Bang Bang Batting Center here.
Making a Menagerie
Obtained seven pets.
You’ll need toobtain seven pets for Goro Kingdom. You’ll unlock the first one as part of the storyline, but there are many others you can find around Honolulu. We havea guide on the location of each one right here.
Not Counting the Usual Ones
Obtained two balls.
You’ll unlock this byfinding two of the seven Golden Ballsrequired for the’When You Wish Upon Some Balls' substory.
