Friendship Island is the main area that you will explore when first startingHello Kitty Island Adventure. This consists of several larger islands such as Gemstone Mountain and Mount Hothead, but there are also a few other areas that you can eventually unlock.
One such area is called Merry Meadow. This multi-tiered area is filled with flowers, and is home to a mysteriously adorable character named Wish Me Mell. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to unlock Merry Meadow for the first time while playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The quest itself isn’t too difficult, but there are a few prerequisites to keep in mind.
What Quest Unlocks Merry Meadow?
In order to unlock Merry Meadow,you’ll need to complete the quest called Curious Caverns,which is given by Pompompurin. This quest itself has a requirement, which is tocomplete Revive the Oasis.
As expected, Revive the Oasis has a lot of requirements as well, includingcompleting the quests called Dessert-ed Boat and Parched.Along with this,your friendship will need to be level 11 with My Melody.
The journey to reviving Gemstone Mountain can be a bit long, but once it’s done,you’re able to move on to unlocking Merry Meadow with Curious Caverns.
How To Complete Curious Caverns
Now that Curious Caverns is active, it’s time tomeet Pompompurin at his boat.After a quick nostalgic conversation,Pompompurin will tell you about a waterfall that dislodged some rocks.
From here, follow Pompompurin to the waterfall in question, which we’ve marked on the map above. This is the waterfall justsouth of his boat.Once here, jump over to the rock under the waterfall anduse your pickaxe to destroy it.After it’s gone, you simply need topass under the waterfall.
On the other side of the waterfall? Merry Meadow! The quest will end at this point, but there is stillmore to do if you want to meet Wish Me Mell.
What To Do First In Merry Meadow
Merry Meadow is a huge area, but you’llonly have access to the small lower section at first.Thankfully, you can unlock more byplanting Beanstalks and watering them for three days in a row.These are grown withGiant Seeds;we found one in the area that we thenplanted on the giant dirt path found on the bit of land surrounded by water.
To water the plants, you need tocomplete the quest Flower Power,which is given by My Melody. After completing this quest,you’ll be able to craft your own Watering Can.
If you are looking tomeet Wish Me Mell,you’ll need to complete the quest line consisting of the following three quests.
Once you get to the final quest in this, Wish Me Mell willintroduce herself and you’ll unlock the character.Don’t forget to keep giving her gifts and leveling up her friendship though!
