Nothing is as exciting or mysterious as the old queen’s ruins hidden to the south of the region, and thanks to the Eerie Season update, you can explore it all like never before.
With new quests and rewards awaiting you within the queen’s court, there’s a lot to get done. We’ll help you get started on investigating the secrets the ancient queen left behind. Here’s everything you need to know to start and complete the In The Lonely Song Quest.
How To Open The Seal
After completing theIn The Depths Of Night quest,meet with Livieoutside the entrance to the palace underground ruins. She’ll show you how tounlock the sealblocking your path.
Byinserting all the tokens into their slotson the door, the seal will break andallow you to enterthe ruined building. Activate the warp spire inside, thenfollow the staircaseto a deep pit.
The only way forward is down. Hop in and get ready to investigate the ruins of the past.
How To Navigate The Queen’s Palace Ruins
Once you’re inside the ruins, you’ll need todefeat the Esselingsscattered throughout torestore the stuffed bear soldiersand unlock the giant doors. Thenumber of blue diamondson the doorindicates how many soldiersmust be restored to proceed forward.

The Broken Hallway
There areonly two bear soldiershere to be restored. One isin the center of the roomand the other isbeside the door at the endof the corridor.
Carefullycross over the fallen pillarsto reach the other side of the room and enter the next part of the ruins.
Here, there aretwo more soldiers, though you’ll need tocarefully step along the toppling pillarsto reach them and the staircase beyond. Freeing these soldiersopens the way forwardto the courtyard.
The Doll Gallery
After youprogress through the courtyard, you’ll drop through the floor to the Doll Gallery andget trapped inside a glass case.
Escape by climbing on the additional cases, thendetour to the right at the top of the roomto reach a bear soldier. Backtrack to the start of the gallery to find the remaining three soldiers:
Once you find all of them,interact with the doorto progress to the next part of the ruins.
Palace Old Courtyard
Once youreach the courtyard, you’ll hear a familiar voice panicking nearby. Head to your right tofind a bear plushie dressed in red.
It’s Investigator Locke, whoshares some vital informationwith you before sending you on your way.
Talk with him before trying to unlock the door!
After your conversation, you’ll need to find the four bear soldiers in the courtyard:
Head through the doors, where you’ll need to find two more bear soldiers. One istucked away under the platformyou arrive on, and the other islocated next to the doorat the bottom.
How To Escape The Ruins
Afterwitnessing the coming-of-age ceremony, you’ll have to escape the ruins before they collapse. Debris is falling all around you, andgetting crushed will immediately end Nikkiand Momo’s attempt.
Use the shadows to gauge where the debris will fall!
Dash around the ruins anduse the debris to help cross gapsin the palace floor. You’ll need to act fast, but don’t be reckless. A bit ofcareful hesitation once up the stairscan help youavoid getting squashedunder a bookcase.
Reach the end of the ruins,by Philomia’s throne, to escape back to the surface. From there,the truth will be revealedand you canreturn to Captain Hiya and Dadain the Florawish Stylist’s Guild.
There, you’llshare with them everything you knowabout the late queens and what truly happened all those centuries ago. The quest will conclude and you cango about your adventurein Miraland.
