Monster Hunter Wildsbrings you to the Forbidden Lands, where a kid named Nata is estranged from his village after being attacked by a monster known as the White Wraith. In such a violent ecosystem, you must face many strong monsters, so you’ll need to expand your arsenal as much as you can.

A new addition in this game is the Artian Weapons system, which shows modular weapons that you can craft in any way you want, but only after obtaining some specific materials dropped by the strongest version of some of the monsters in this game. Here’s all you need to know.

How To Unlock Artian Weapons

After finishing the main story, you must keep playing the post-game missions until you reach the end of Main Mission Chapter 4: Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns, where the first Tempered Monster is introduced, Tempered Lala Barina.

Defeating this monster will reward you with the first materials to create Artian weapons, which will be unlocked once you return to your base camp and talk to Gemma.

How To Build An Artian Weapon

To build an Artian Weapon you must obtain and assemble three out of four possible materials, calledBlades, Tubes, Discs, or Devices. These componentswill boost either the Attack or the Affinity of the weapononce it’s crafted, andthey will also have a specific element or special condition assigned to them.

The final resultwill depend on which element/condition is more prominent in the trio of componentsyou have assembled. If the three parts you used have each a different element, thenthe weapon won’t get one.

The specific recipe will depend on the Weapon Category, and it goes as follows:

Tube + Tube + Device

Reinforcing Artian Weapons

Each Artian Weapon can be reinforced up to five times, by using some special minerals you can find across the Forbidden Lands, or by dismantling other Artian Weapons you have no more use for. Each level of reinforcement will give your weapon a random bonus on one of its stats, significantly improving its usefulness in battle.
