Roblox’s Rune Slayerhas many different activities that will bring you useful rewards, one of which is fishing, which is perhaps not the most interesting but definitely profitable. In the ponds, you can catch a lot of expensive fish or items that you can sell to a merchant to get a good amount of Silver and Copper.
Still, firstly, you will need to prepare for it and buy all the necessary equipment, namely a fishing rod and bait. We will explain this, as well as how the mechanics of fishing in Rune Slayer work.

How To Get The Fishing Rod
To get a fishing rod,buy it from Simon The Fisherman NPC, who is located on the pier in Wayshire. Just approach him and click on the interact button. After that, you will receive a quest from Simon The Fisherman, which requires you tocatch and bring him five fish.
It doesn’t need to be a fish sinceany catch will workto complete the quest.

After that, you can look through his inventory and buy a Wood Fishing Rod. It will cost youone Silver and 25 Copper.
But in addition to the rod,you need bait for fishing. Just like the fishing rod, you canbuy it from Simon The Fisherman, in this case, it’s Worms, which will cost you15 Copper each.
Alternatively, you can also get another bait —Mandrake Root. This is a frequent drop from Mandrakes and Mandrake Kings, which you canfind and kill at Ali’s Farm in Wayshire.
It’s worth noting that youdon’t need to equip the bait;it’s enough to just have it in your inventory.
How To Use The Fishing Rod
you may fish in various pondsaround the world, but the best places to do it areBeach, Lakeshire, and Greatwood Swampbecause more species of fish spawn there.
So, having chosen the desired place, follow the next steps which explain the whole process of fishing:
This way you can catch a lot of different fish, including items that you can sell later. Once you’ve caught five fish, go back to Simon The Fisherman and talk to him to complete the quest and get the reward. This will be aTackle Box, a very useful item that will save space in your inventory and can hold a lot of bait.
