There aren’t that many shops inHello Kitty Island Adventure, so each one is special. Once you make it to City Town, you’ll eventually be able to unlock the Imagination Cafe, which serves a variety of mochi, dango, boba, and onigiri that you can make.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how you can unlock the Imagination Cafe in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The cafe will eventually be open for business, but this will just take you through the initial opening step, so you can start using the Chef’s Station inside to make various dishes.
Requirements To Start A Whole New Menu
Before startingA Whole New Menuto unlock the Imagination Cafe, there are some requirements. First and foremost,you need to visit City Townandbefriend Usahana. Once youreach friendship level three with Usahana,this quest will become available.
To begin,all you need to do is talk to her.Usahana will most likely be standing in her usual spot where you first met her.
How To Complete A Whole New Menu
This quest hasfour different steps,with two of them taking place in the Seaside Resort. Below, you can learn how to complete these two steps before moving on to the final parts.
Visit With Hello Kitty
The first step to completing this quest after speaking with Usahana is tovisit Hello Kitty, who will be near the Seaside Resort plaza.Here, Usahana will become interested in the Hello Kitty Cafe. Head inside,where you will eventuallyneed to bake the following dishes.

You don’t need the upgraded oven in order to make these.
Visit With Chococat
After giving Usahana the three dishes,you’ll need to visit Chococat. Here, he’ll ask for the following items.
These canquickly be crafted at the nearby table,and then given to Chococat. Once this is done, you may head back to City Town once more.
Mechanisms are made with Gizmos(which are obtained by gifting to Chococat), andSparks aremade with Light Stones(which are obtained bygifting to Kuromi).
Where To Find The Colorful Key
Back in City Town, Usahana is prepared to open the Imagination Cafe, but she seems to have misplaced the key. It’s up to you to find it for her now. The key itself isfound on the rooftop of the building where the Imagination Cafe is located.
Looking at the map, you’re able to see agrey-tiled area just north of the Imagination Cafe umbrellas.Here, there is ablue hexagon that’s in the middle of the tiled area.This is where the key can be found, butgetting here takes some effort.
To get here, you’ll need to head to themoon-shaped road area on the right-hand side of City Town.Along the back edge of this area, you’ll see somepipes that go upward.The normal walls can’t be climbed up, butyou can climb up the pipes here.
Go up until the pipe makes a left turn, and then continue to climb sideways. After following the pipe,you will be on the pink rooftop area.From here, you should see another pipe going upwards. Follow this, andyou’ll be on the layer where the Colorful Key is found.
We suggestclimbing once more in order tointeract with the fast-travel mailbox up here.This lets you quickly reach the rooftops without climbing the pipes again. While there are no characters that are found up here,you can find chests and items to pick up.
After you grab the key,head back to Usahana and give it to her.Once you’ve done this, the Imagination Cafe will unlock and you canproceed inside.
There is still one more step left in this quest; make some mochi. Usahana will walk you through the steps, which are rather simple. Once you’vemade any mochi flavor and given it to Usahana,the quest will end. From here, you canuse the Chef’s Station in the Imagination Cafe whenever you want.
The Imagination Cafe also holds a little terminal called theImagination Cafe Computer.This won’t unlock until you complete the quest simply called Imagination Cafe,which becomes available after reaching friendship level seven with Usahana.
