Many of the trophies and achievements inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2have unclear descriptions. Sometimes, the details provide little to no guidance on what you actually need to do, while other times, the instructions are straightforward but still difficult to accomplish.
This is exactly the case with the Overkill trophy and achievement. It tells you to take down a rabbit with a gunshot, but it doesn’t explain where to find rabbits or how to even get a gun in the game. That’s where this guide comes in. in helping you getting this trophy/achievement.
How To Unlock The Overkill Trophy/Achievement
The description for theOverkill trophy/achievementis “You pulverized a rabbit with a gunshot,” which means you need two things:some type of gun and a rabbit.
So first things first, you need to get your hands on a gun. This can be any gun,but in the first region, you won’t have access to one, so this will happen once youreach Kuttenberg as part of the main story.
In the southeast corner of the town, you will find a trader namedGunmaker Prokop Eldris. Make your way to him then interact with him and open his shop for wares.
He sells a variety ofranged guns and their ammo, so what you want to do is buy one of them.
We recommend gettinga Pistoleand buying theScatter Shot ammo. The reason you should go for that ammo is that when you shoot it,it spreads the pellets instead of just one bullet,which will makeit much easier to hit the rabbit.
This step can be entirely skipped if you already have a gun.Just ensure you have some Scatter Shot ammo.
Now, with step one done, you need to find a rabbit location. These can be found ata particular deer hunting spot during the day on the map.
Our recommended spot isjust east of Mesoles village by the river, but before you start the hunt,make sure to save so you have a point of returnin case you run out of ammo or the rabbit somehow runs away.
In this hunting location, you will find a bunch of deer, but among them,there will be a few rabbits. What you need to do iscrouch and approach them slowly.
Prepare your pistole with the scatter shot and when you aim at a rabbit and you’re confident,shoot it. It shouldinstantly kill the rabbitandunlock the Overkill Achievement.
In case you fail, the rabbit will run away, and you can simply eitherfollow his directionorreload your previous saveand try again until you get it.
If you don’t have much luck at our recommended location, try the one just to the west of Bylany village.
