Trophies and achievements in general in any game do not always give you specific instructions on how to complete them. Instead, they provide a vague description and expect you to figure it out on your own. On the other hand, some of them can be as clear as day with their description, but you may still have no idea how to complete them or what steps are necessary.
One of the trophies that fits this description inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is the Slip the Noose trophy. While it makes it very clear what is expected from you to complete it, you probably have no idea how to go about doing so. This is why we have this guide to help you complete it.
How To Unlock The Slip The Noose Trophy/Achievement
As the description says, you need totalk your way out of an execution, and while it may seem very difficult in real life, it’s quite easy to achieve in the game.
It’s best to aim for this trophy toward the end of the gamewhen you have a high stat in Charisma, Speech, or Dread, as this will make talking your way out of it much easier.
First things first, you need toequip Henry with a high Charisma outfit. These can be foundat any tailor in theKuttenberg region.
We recommend buying the following, but really,anything with a high Charisma stat is fine:
You canadd some jewelry, such as rings or brooches, and you can also have a drink or two, but don’t get drunk, as you need tomake sure you’re well received, not tired, not dirty, and not hungry.
You can check the Charisma stat in the section below Henry in the Player menu, so be sure to reachat least 25 in Charisma.
With everything set up,make your way to Troskowitz, where we will do the process, as it’s easier there. Approacha villager, kill him, and this will trigger the guards to come and attack you.
Do not fight back; instead,surrenderand thenmake sure to accept the punishment. Doing so will get you brandmarked.
In case you don’t know what that means, when you’re brandmarked, if you commit murder again, you will be hung,thus getting an execution.
Now, you need to get a bit lucky on this one, sowe highly recommend saving before proceeding.
Next,find another villager and kill him. Again, this will trigger the nearby guards to come and attack you. Choose theSurrender option.
Here, you will geta bunch of dialogue optionsthat you can pick, each with a different level of how much you can convince the guard.
It’s best to go for the Medium ones, as they usually work. Something like’Do you know who I am?' or ‘We can come to an agreement…’ usually works.
This will convince the guard,and he will let you go.
As soon as the dialogue is finished, you will unlock theSlip the Noose trophy/achievement.
