Keeping up a respectable appearance is, of course, paramount, considering you’re escorting the noblemen Sir Hans Capon across Bohemia. While there are opportunities towash your clothing in bathhouses, you may also find spots to launder your linen around bodies of water. However, you’ll need to have some soap on hand if you want to take advantage of these areas.
Where To Find Soap
Soapis a rather common item in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You canfind it in chests and cupboardsscattered around the games world, oramong the corpses of dead enemies. If you make a habit of looting everything from slain foes, you’lllikely already have some in your inventory.
If you find you don’t have soap and just want to purchase it, you canbuy some from bathhouse owners and other merchantsfor some Groschens.Remember to haggletobring the price down!
How To Use Soap
Now that you have your soap, you need to find a place to use it. As you explore Bohemia, you’ll find many bodies of water, and theymay be home to a laundry spot. Look for asmall deck overhanging the water, and if you’re lucky, the game willtell you that you’re able to wash up.
After finding a new laundry spot, thelocation will be added to your map and compassfor future reference.
You’ll be given two options; bathing yourself or cleaning your clothes. You’ll want tohold X/A to begin washing your garments, and the game willpull up a menu with all the clothing in your current inventory.
you’re able to now beginselecting the clothes that you would like to clean. In the upper right corner, you’ll beshown how many units of soap you have available to you. As you add more and more clothing to be washed, the menu will show youhow much soap is required to get the job done.
When you’ve selected the items you want to wash,press Square/X to confirm. Some time will pass, and your armor will be pristine. No more comments about Henry’s smell!
After everything has been laundered, you cancheck your inventory to see how much soap you have left, as well as its adjusted selling price.
