The reputation systems inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2are really complex. How you’re dressed and how clean you are will change how NPCs react to you. If you’re dirty, important people won’t take you seriously and merchants won’t offer their best prices.
While you can wash yourself to a degree at troughs around towns and villages, you’ll need to wash your clothes properly to present yourself as well as possible. If you’ve been running through mud or have blood all over you from fighting bandits, you’ll need to wash yourself thoroughly.

How To Wash Clothes At Baths
Your first option for washing clothes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is tohead to baths in towns. Look for a bath symbol on the map, head there, and speak to the owner.
You’ll then be able to speak to them about washing both yourself and your clothes. You have three options, each at a different price.
Hot bath and clothes washed
One hours
Treat wounds, give a bath, and wash clothes
15 Groschen
Two hours
Treat wounds, give a bath, and wash clothes (with added pleasant company in the bedrooms)
30 Groschen
Three hours
You can haggle on prices at baths to get the services for a little cheaper. The price will also depend on your reputation.
After you’ve purchased the service and the time has passed, you’ll be clean and healed. You’ll be free to continue your journey, knowing the locals won’t keep talking about your dreadful appearance.
How To Wash Clothes In Rivers Or Ponds
Your other option, which is cheaper but more time-consuming, is towash your clothes at a body of water. At pretty much any body of water in the game, you’ll see a spot you can wash at. It’ll be added to the map as a discovered spot, but you’ll often notice them as a area with a few planks of wood.
Walk up to the spot and look at the water. Then, you’ll noticetwo options appear in the bottom right of the screen. You can either wash yourself, like you would in any trough of water, or wash your clothes. You’ll just need some soapin your inventory to wash your clothes.
You’ll be able to buySoapat any baths, or from most inkeepers at taverns.
You won’t heal or be as as clean as you would be from being washed at baths, but you will wash your clothes to as clean as they can be.
