200,000 might seem like a lot, but considering how many tens of millions of people would have played Infinity Nikki by this point, only a fraction of them will need to quickly hop on Steam to contribute to the cause. That’s not even including those who have been waiting until the game gets a Steam release to play it who will be eager to wishlist even without the bonus of immediate in-game rewards.
Infold has also promised cross-progression for those playing on other platforms who might want to hop between platforms once Infinity Nikki launches on Steam.
