Summary
A first look at an upcoming Beauty And The Beast castleLegoset has been shared online. Reportedly releasing in less than a month, if the initial details about the castle are correct, which seems very likely, it will be the second biggest Lego set inDisney’s history.
While there are a lot of Disney Lego sets out there, since the two behemoths didn’t start working together on non-Duplo sets until 2010, there’s naturally still a lot of ground to cover from across Disney’s 100-year history. Beauty And The Beast already has Lego sets, but the movie’s iconic castle has never been turned into toy bricks, and now that it is, it will immediately become one of the biggest collaborations between Lego and Disney to date.

A first look, along with some of the details, at the upcoming Beauty And The Beast set wasshared via the Lego Kids website(thanks,Jay’s Brick Blog). The castle will consist of 2,916 bricks, making it significantly bigger than almost every other Disney set to have come before it. The only ones bigger are the Disney Train And Station at 2,925 pieces, and the far larger Disney castle which takes a staggering 4,837 bricks to complete.
Lego Is Turning Beauty And The Beast’s Castle Into Toy Bricks
It Will Be One Of Disney’s Biggest Sets Ever
Even though the Beauty And The Beast castle will have 2,000 fewer pieces than Disney’s signature castle, it will not be lacking in detail. The front of the castle is a stunningly accurate recreation of how the building appears in the movie, and pictures of the reverse show that accuracy extends to the interior too.
Various rooms from the castle, including the ballroom where Belle and the Beast fall in love and the tower room where the latter keeps his enchanted rose, have been rebuilt in Lego form. Even the rose itself has been turned into Lego and will be joined by a mix of Minifigures and brick-built characters.
Belle, the Beast, Gaston, LeFou, and Maurice have been turned into Minifigures, while other characters are included and will need to be built. More specifically the characters that are items that have come to life. Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and of course, Lumiere are all in there alongside some of the other not-so inanimate objects they are the castle with.
Although Lego hasn’t officially revealed the finer details yet, reports have revealed how much it will cost and when it will be released. The castle will cost $279.99, so significantly cheaper than the larger Disney Castle set which costs $400,and be released on July 06, 2025, so not long to wait at all.
