Marvel Rivalsplayers don’t have much to complain about. The game looks and runs fantastically, speaking of which, thenewly added Fantastic Fourhave been pretty well received. And, leaks suggest more is on the way with theX-Men contingent getting a few additions. It’s a great time to be a hero shooter fan.
However, it seems that there are a few characters that have some issues. It seems Peni Parker can launch a mine into the enemy starting area toget a kill before the match even begins, and now, fans think that Moon Knight’s Ult may be bugged and doing double damage.
Is This Khonshu’s Doing?
It seems some fans have noticed that Moon Knight’s Ult has been doing way more damage than it’s supposed to. To test out this theory, one Redditor took to the practice range to see what exactly has been going on.Sidewaysgtshas posted a video and says that either the Ult’s description is lacking vital information, or is just bugged to do more damage.
“According to [NetEase] the talons in Moon Knight ult should be doing 75 damage, with a radius of 5 meters,” they said. “They actually each do 150. More specifically with some testing my best guess is each talon is producing 2 AoE [area of effect] fields, one field does 75 damage with a radius of 5 meters as it should, but there is another AoE that also does 75 damage, but has a range closer to 10 meters- however this second AoE will only reach within the casting circle of the ult (however the 5 meter radius AoE can reach outside the casting circle)”
They went on to explain that the video showed the bot on the left take a full 150 damage as the first talon hit, while the bot on the right took 75 damage at the same time. Since the bot on the right is nine meters away, the second talon, which is close enough to both to do 150 damage, kills the bot on the left and leaves the one on the right with 25hp. The third talon kills it.
This makes them believe that NetEase has either written the description wrong, or the Ult is bugged to do extra damage.
