Summary
Marvel Rivalsis a free-to-play 6v6 hero shooter with a large roster of heroes and villains with unique powers and abilities. It launched on June 10, 2025, and quickly became one of the most popular games in the genre with its satisfying gameplay, innovative mechanics, andgorgeous visuals.
After easing players into its world for a month, Season One of Marvel Rivals finally began on Jun 26, 2025. Alongside new characters, maps, and modes, this vampire-themed event also allows you to unlock new skins as battle pass rewards. While many of them are instantly iconic, some of these skins are much better than others.

10Peni Parker
Blue Tarantula
Peni Parker is a versatile Vanguard who can absorb plenty of damage for her team while placing mines around the map to damage unsuspecting opponents. While there is potential for awesome cosmetics for her, Peni’s first skin introduced in Season One is just a recolor of her default look.
While the Blue Tarantula is a lovely shade, it’s pretty disappointing to have a new skin that doesn’t truly stand out on its own. However, it does have a nice backstory that connects it to a spider that Peni’s father was secretly obsessed with.

9Namor
Savage Sub-Mariner
Namor is a strategic Duelist known for his ability to summon Monstro Spawn, which automatically targets nearby enemies. He’s one of many characters to havea costume based on his MCU counterpart, but it’s nice to get something that delves into his comic appearances.
The Savage Sub-Mariner skin does have some noticeable differences from Namor’s initial look. Aside from the new vest, he also wears a crown fit for the king of the seas, and something that may go unnoticed is his wings. Instead of the usual feathered pair on his ankles, he now has what looks like small bat wings - a fitting alternative to Namor’s default attire this season.

8Scarlet Witch
Emporium Matron
Scarlet Witch is a deadly Duelist that can auto-lock onto enemies with her basic attack andvaporize opponents with her ultimate ability. She is currently one of the few characters with more than four skins to choose from, each of which brings out a different part of her personality.
Her newest outfit, Emporium Matron, shows off the classier side of Scarlet Witch, pulling inspiration from the 2022 Hellfire Gala comic. While the scarlet color is a given, the gold and purple accents in her dress, accessories, and makeup help it stand out from her other skins. And we love what she’s done with her hair!

7Moon Knight
Blood Moon Knight
Moon Knight is a nimble Duelist who can place Ancient Ankh’s around the map to damage enemies within its radius. Season One of Marvel Rivals provides him with his fifth skin, Blood Moon Knight, which acts as a wonderful counterpart to his default attire.
Moon Knight makes a point of wearing bright white clothing, even having voice lines saying as much, but this newer skin allows him to embrace his darker side. With a black cloak and red crescent darts, the Blood Moon Knight costume perfectly fits Season One’s dark themes and vampire aesthetic.

6Magneto
King Magnus
Magneto is a powerful Vanguard who provides shields for himself and his allies while acting as a damage sponge for his team. Though his initial batch of skins feel similar, his newest costume, King Magnus, showcases a different side of the antihero.
House of M is a divisive comic book story arch, but many agree that Magneto’s presence is one of the highlights. His Season One skin displays an air of authority and power, but not in an antagonistic way like his other outfits. Aside from the royal attire, one of the biggest differences between King Magnus and Magneto’s other costumes is the lack of a helmet, letting him finally have his hair down.

5Loki
All-Butcher
Loki is a tricky Strategist who can cast illusions of himself around the map to heal allies and distract enemies. He already had an impressive line-up of outfits when Marvel Rivals launched, and Season One continues that trend by giving him the gloriously twisted All-Butcher skin.
This look is a friendly reminder ofhow much of a villain Loki is, despite his magnificent heel turn in the MCU. Equipped with a menacing scythe and a thick, gnarly suit of armor that seems alive, the All-Butcher is one of the creepiest skins in Marvel Rivals. One of the best parts about this ensemble is howquickly you can unlock it in the battle pass.

4Rocket Raccoon
Bounty Hunter
Rocket Raccoon is a small but mighty Strategist who can deal decent damage to enemies while also being able to heal and provide shields for his teammates. He already had an impressive wardrobe of outfits to choose from, but Season One provides another one that reminds you how much of an outlaw this little critter can be.
Rocket already had skins inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy films and the holiday season, but Season One also gives him the Western-style Bounty Hunter outfit. With red fur, a cowboy hat, and a steampunk-inspired weapon, Rocket is the good, the bad, and the ugly you won’t want to mess with.

3Adam Warlock
Blood Soul
Adam Warlock is another powerful Strategist who can fire energy bolts from his wand andrevive fallen allies. He is mostly known for being gold from head to toe, which could really restrict the types of skins he can receive. Fortunately, Season One provides him with one that makes him almost unrecognizable in the best ways possible.
Instead of looking like a golden god from space, Adam Warlock’s Blood Soul skin makes him look like a mysterious character in a game developed by FromSoftware. Everything from the mask to the book attached to his waist adds an aura of mystery to the character that makes him even more compelling to play.

2Iron Man
Blood Edge Armor
Iron Man is an explosive Duelist who can fly around the stage with ease to ambush enemies with his projectiles and beams. While the character already had a decent selection of cosmetics to choose between, Season One introduces Iron Man’s best skin so far.
The Blood Edge Armor makes Iron Man look like he’s flown in from a future timeline where the medieval era never went away. The thick helmet and heavy armor seem like they would be good for a joust, but it’s the screaming faces on his shoulder pads that’ll strike fear into your heart before Iron Man blasts you with a Pulse Cannon.

1Wolverine
Blood Berserker
Wolverine is a wild Duelist who can rip an enemy to shreds if he gets close enough. His newest skin, Blood Berserker, is one of the final cosmetics you may unlock in the Season One battle pass, and it truly felt like Marvel Rivals saved the best for last.
Logan is almost unrecognizable in his new getup, but the tipped hat and long collar reinforce his status as a lone wolf. The Blood Berserker outfit is incredibly reminiscent of Van Helsing, another character that Hugh Jackman has portrayed on the big screen. Whether that’s intentional or not, this skin alone makes the grind through the battle pass worth it.
