We’re still in the early days ofMarvel Rivals, so fans are constantly debating which characters are better or worse. However, as we enter Season 1, a clearer picture emerges, as NetEase shares some player data.
Over on the Marvel RivalsHero Hot List, you’re able to check out the pick rate and win rate of each character. From this, we can see which character is performing the worst, and regardless of what platform you’re on or what mode you’re playing, there are three clear losers: Black Widow, Jeff the Land Shark, and The Punisher.
Everyone’s Playing Jeff, But His Win Rate Is One Of The Worst

The above screenshot shows the results for quickplay on PC, but the top (or rather, bottom) two don’t change regardless of what mode or platform is being played. Whatever the case, Black Widow and Jeff are winning the least, even though they have wildly different pick rates.
Jeff isgetting both buffed and nerfed in a patch today, so we’ll have to wait and see if that changes his ranking.
As for win rates across all modes and platforms, we have a clear winner: Mantis. At her peak, this Strategist is winning 56.03 percent of the time, a comfortable lead over Peni Parker, Magik, and Hela who take second place across the different categories.
On the flip side, there are four characters who consistently have the worst pick rate, regardless of their win rate. These are: Black Widow, Storm, Namor, and Wolverine.
The results we’re seeing here are quite different thanthe list put together by a fan back in December. This list determined that Hulk had the highest win rate, whereas, on the official ranking, he doesn’t break into the top five in any category. However, this ranking did predict that Jeff would have one of the worst win rates, which we’re definitely seeing reflected here.
