When you break it down, you realize why that’s such a good price, and it’s not just because you’re getting three full games for less than what is now a $70 industry standard. Since Minecraft Legends costs $39.99, and Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons cost $19.99 each, if you were to buy these three games individually, it would cost you $20 more than if you were to buy the bundle.

That means if you buy the bundle, you’re effectively getting the original Minecraft for free. Well, actually, it’s the Java Edition if you buy it onPCand the Bedrock Edition on consoles. Or, if you’d prefer, you can pretend Dungeons is the free game since that’s also $19.99 when bought separately. I guess you could frame it as getting Legends for half price, but that feels like making all this more confusing just for the sake of it.
As if the Triple Bundle wasn’t a good enough deal already, Mojang is also throwing in 1,020 Minecoins for good measure. Minecoins can be spent on skins, textures, and other additional cosmetics in the Minecraft Marketplace. The upcoming Minecraft movie is potentially only one of the reasons why this bundle has come around at just the right time.
The Triple Bundle appears to be even cheaper on PlayStation. It’s unclear whether that’s a mistake or intentional, and if it’s the latter, it’s unclear why, especially when the games are developed by an Xbox-owned studio.
