That’s over ten million copies in just about a month, which is impressive even for a title as popular as Monster Hunter. The game is already more successful than Worlds, and if things continue this way, Wilds will be sealed as Capcom’s most successful game of all time. Monster Hunter Wilds Has Sold Over 10 Million Copies In Its First Month
“Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest entry in the Monster Hunter series and is set in a dynamically changing world that is in one moment a severe wilderness, swarming with packs of attacking monsters, and in the next transforms into a rich natural environment teeming with life,” says theannouncementby Capcom. It further states that the RE Engine and crossplay feature helped boost the player count.
“Additionally, the introduction of the new Focus Mode mechanic and the implementation of seamless movement between settlements and ecosystems have provided an even more immersive gaming experience,” continues the statement. “While the fusion of numerous new elements with Monster Hunter’s appeal has generated significant excitement, all of which led to the company first-month sales record of over 10 million units sold.”
Capcom went on to mention that it is confident that the game will achieve more success thanks to the game’s first title update coming on April 4, bringing with it the Grand Hub, Mizutsune, High Rank Zoh Shia, and even teased the return of Lagiacrus. More such updates with fan favourite Monsters will be coming regularly to the game.
