Although the anime’s storylines are worthy of praise, it’s their characters that truly carry the show....

Summary Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17 is what you’d expect from the filmmaker, with an absurdist and satirical take on a dystopian future. Robert Pattinson offers a great performance here that feels completely different from anything he’s done before, and the supporting cast consisting of Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette helps accentuate the movie’s nature with their offbeat characters.
