Side quests in most RPGs act as little more than filler to pad out the playtime, rewarding you with stock items and experience that you would have gotten from grinding anyway. A good RPG foregoes that design and makes side questsrewarding, compelling missionsin themselves. One such game is Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven, whose side quests lead to you unlocking new character classes. There are over 30 character classes in the game, and to explore it thoroughly you need to unlock a good bunch of them through side quests....
Summary Fable 2is often the fan favourite of the original trilogy. It holds up nicely too, perfectly playable even 17 years (wow) after its launch onXbox 360. Well, it’s perfectly playable if you’re on console, because for whatever reason, Fable 2 was the only one in the series to never come to PC. However, that could finally change. At least one fan is currently working on a Fable 2 recomp, which would act as an unofficial port of the game to PC....
Summary Split Fictionis already a huge success right out of the gate. In just one day, it’s beaten Hazelight Studios' previous hit,It Takes Two, in at least one metric, as it scoops up more than double its concurrent player count onSteam. In fact, Split Fiction is close to tripling It Takes Two’s record. Right now,Split Fiction’s concurrent player record on Steam is 197,434, according toSteamDB. This is opposed to 71,039 for It Takes Two, which was already a huge success for Hazelight....

There are 18 to find in total. You only need to find six to unlock the first intrinsic upgrade, but if you want to fully upgrade Barrow-Dyad later in the season, it’s best to grab all the fragments now....
Generative AIwas always going to come for video games. It was only a few short years ago that we poked fun at its failure to depict human anatomy or render prolonged scenes without breaking up into an awkward mess. But, as many correctly predicted at the time, it has improved and reached a point where developers and publishers alike are using it in commercial products. But it’s still seen as a point of shame, because using this technology to create assets is inevitably going to take away jobs from human artists in need of work, not to mention the environmental impact of using it or how it normalises its role in an industry already struggling to remain sustainable and provide worthwhile protection for its workers....

If you’re not accounting for player romance, it’s easier to have companions fall out with you or be true to their own motivations rather than siding with yours. This means you can have conversations that head in less predictable directions than different shades of flirting, and which could allow them to have a life outside of you....
