Summary
One of the waysPokemonhas celebrated Pokemon Day is by adding some plush bundles starring Eevee and some of its evolved forms to the Pokemon Center. However, the presence of some highly sought-after Prismatic Evolutions products appears to have sent fans into a frenzy with the site currently buckling under the pressure of everyone trying to buy them.
There are four bundles available at the time of typing this, one with an Eevee plush, and the three Pokemon it can evolve into using various stones in the original Pokemon games. As much as I’m sure some of the people currently rushing the Pokemon Center will be happy to call those plushes their own, it’s some of the items they’re bundled with that are likely causing the virtual queues and site crashes.
According toPokemonDealsTCGand various other Twitter accounts dedicated to Pokemon and Pokemon stock, the Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon plushes all come bundled with matching Prismatic Evolutions mini tins. The tins contain two booster packs, and although that might not seem like much, it’s currently one of the only ways to get your hands on some Prismatic Evolutions cards without resorting to scalpers.
Pokemon Has Released Eeveelution Plush Bundles To Celebrate Pokemon Day
Bundles With Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins In Them
Even though the Eevee plush bundle doesn’t include a Prismatic Evolutions mini tin, you will get an Evolving Skies bundle should you be lucky enough to beat the queues before all the bundles have sold out. The plush is also arguably better than the ones included with the other bundles since it’s the still very new Eevee Squishmallow. Eevee remains the newest Squishmallow to join the Pokemon collection, its arrival announced alongside Chansey at the end of last year.
Each of the bundles also comes with a collectible as well as some cards and a plush. Statues for Eevee, Flareon, and Jolteon, and a pin set of all four Pokemon in sprite form with the Vaporeon bundle. I’m unsure of how much the bundles cost since I’m currently stuck in the Pokemon Center queue, althoughthey appear to be $45 each. That might seem steep if all you’re after is the cards, but remember the bundle also comes with a plush and a collectible.
The drop appears to have been perfectly timed to line up with the ending of today’s Pokemon Presents. A lot of information was packed into the 20-minute showcase with the highlights beinga better look at Pokemon Legends Z-A, andthe reveal of a Stadium-style game called Pokemon Champions.
