Summary
A few days afterPokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’slatest set, Triumphant Light, launched, we’ve got our first indication of how the meta might shape out over the coming weeks.
Naturally, Arceus ex was expected to dominate proceedings, given the plethora of Pokemon with “Link” abilities that support it, but the God Pokemon currently only occupies one of the top 10 spots, withDialga and Palkiaboth far more prominent.

Three Of Diamond And Pearl’s Legendary/Mythical Pokemon Dominate The Early Triumphant Light Meta
It’s worth noting that these rankings are likely to change heavily as only a handful of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket tournaments have been held since the Triumphant Light launched last week. New card combinations will be discovered, and new archetypes will rise to the top; however, it’s the first snapshot we’ve got of what will be Pokemon TCG Pocket’s longest meta to date.
So far, a deck comprising of Arceus ex and Dialga ex has the highest win rate, sitting at 58.62 percent. This deck is also, by far, the most used deck in the current meta, with it being used 2.5 percent more than any other deck, which makes its win rate even more impressive.

Interestingly, though, the number one spot is the only time Arceus ex appears in the current top ten, according toLimitless TCG. In addition to taking the top spot, Dialga ex takes the number two position in a deck shared with Mew ex.
Arguably, the most dominant card, at the moment at least, isPalkia ex, with the Water-type Pokemon taking up four of the top ten spots. It combines with Magnezone, Starmie ex, and Articuno ex, as well as going solo to fill those positions. Alongside Arceus ex, Gallade ex and Garchomp ex are the only new cards that crack the current charts.

The current top ten can be seen below, thanks to Limitless TCG:
While the meta has changed rapidly since the release of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, in no small part thanks to the game’s hectic, often overwhelming release schedule, things should have a little longer to settle this time around. There are scheduled to be around two months between the release of Triumphant Light and the game’s next expansion, A3, leaving plenty of time for things to be chopped and changed.
