Summary
Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewindreleased at the end of 2024, the 2D beat ‘em up taking the series’ roots and planting them in a game that felt like it was from a bygone era in all the best ways. One of the drawbacks of Rita’s Rewind was its digital-only release, but that all changes later this year when the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers game getsa physical edition onPlayStation 5andNintendo Switch.
Digital Eclipse confirmed the good news today, not only revealing Rita’s Rewind will be gettinga physical version on June 03, 2025, but opening pre-orders right away through Atari. That’s right, if you’ve been waiting and hoping for the Power Rangers game to get a physical edition, you can secure your copy right now via the links in the box below.

Before you do, there’s even more good news. While you could go for the standard edition of Rita’s Rewind’s physical release, there’s also a deluxe edition if you want some exclusive Power Rangers swag with your copy of the game. The deluxe edition of Rita’s Rewind comes with a collector’s box, a poster, a lenticular postcard, a steelbook with the Green Ranger’s dagger on the front, and best of all, six trading cards, a different pixel art Ranger on each.
Digital Eclipse Announces Physical Release For Rita’s Rewind
Plus A Deluxe Edition That Comes With A Lot Of Exclusive Power Rangers Merch
If you’re happy with the standard edition, then you canplace a pre-order now for $34.99. Pre-orders for the collector’s edition are also liveand cost $49.99. I know it doesn’t come with a statue like some other collector’s editions, but $15 more for a copy of the game that comes with all of those exclusive extras seems like a pretty good deal.
Digital Eclipse has noted thatphysical copies of Rita’s Rewind will also be available on Amazonwhich hopefully means they won’t be available in limited quantities. This doesn’t appear to be a Limited Run-type situation where the game is only available in limited numbers for a limited time. It is getting a regular physical release and even if you’re on the fence about pre-ordering the game, it should still be available to buy once May 30 has been and gone.

There was a hope that Rita’s Rewind might get more characters via DLC but as of right now, if that is the plan, Digital Eclipse is keeping it a secret. That the studio has pushed on with a physical release suggests its digital launch has performed well though, so hopefully the game will get more content in the future, or maybe even sequels featuring other versions of the Power Rangers.
